Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way), don't help either. Thank you very much for your time. Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI). Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy. Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful. Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI). Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. Salam (Peace) -----------------

The reason some of the Meccans didn't want to convert is not because it means their forefathers were in Hell. Rather, it doesn't mean their forefathers are in Hell. Since they did not receive revelation, they couldn't be judged according it, so they will be judged primarily according to their deeds. Rather, the Meccans didn't like how it threatened their monopoly on the pilgramage.

The Aramaic word for God is "Alaha" too sounds familiar? Written without the confusing vowels it is written A-L-H ܐ ܠܗܐ (alap-lamed-he) as found in Targum or in Tanakh (Daniel, Ezra), Syriac Aramaic (Peshitta), reduced from the Arabic original (of which Aramaic is a dialect continuum as will be explained) it is written in the Arabic script 'A-L-L-H' (Aleph-Lam-Lam-Ha) add an A before the last H for vocalization. The word God in another rendition in Hebrew ʾĕlōah is derived from a base ʾilāh, an Arabic word, written without confusing vowel it is A-L-H in the Arabic script, pronounced ilah not eloah. Hebrew dropped the glottal stop and mumbled it, aramic mumbled a little less and it became elaha. Infact both are written written A-L-H in Arabic, it is pronounced i in Arabic and not A because it is an Alef with hamza below (إ أ ) They are two different forms of Alef. And it mean "a god", it is the non definitive form of A-L-L-H, in which the Alef is without a glottal stop/hamza,(ا), but this kind of nuance is lost in the dialect continua. infact "YHWH" itself is an Arabic word as discussed by Professor. Israel Knohl (Professor of Biblical studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem) in the paper" YHWH: The Original Arabic Meaning of the Name." jesus as his name is often misspelled due to the lack of the ayin sound in Greek, which was rendered to Iesous, coupling the nearest sound to ayin, same letter found in 'Iraq', which sounds entirely different in Arabic form 'Iran' in Arabic, with the -ous Greek suffix that Greeks typically add to their names 'HerodotOS', 'PlotinUS', 'AchelOUS' and later mumbled into a J. The yeshua rendition of Isa (his name in the Qur'an) PBUH which is purported to be the name of Jesus is KNOWN to had been taken from greek. Western Syriac also use "Isho". Western Aramaic (separate from Syriac which is a dialect of Eastern Aramaic) use "Yeshu". Western Syriac has been separate from Western Aramaic for about 1000 years. And sounds don't even match up. Syriac is a Christian liturgical language yet the four letters of the name of Jesus «ܝܫܘܥ» [ = Judeo-Babylonian Aramaic: «ישוע» ] sounds totally different in West vs East Syriac, viz. vocalized akin to Christian Arabic, Hebrew, Aramaic «ܝܶܫܽܘܥ» (Yēšūʿ) in West Syriac, but pronounced more akin to Muslim Arabic Quran character name Isa in East Syriac «ܝܑܼܫܘܿܥ» (ʾĪšōʿ). The reason for this confusion is their dropping of phonemes. Only someone that has no idea what the letters are or how they sound would have a name ending in a pharyngeal fricative like the ayin, if it were to be used in a name it would have had to be in the beginning, thus the Arabic rendition is the correct one. An example in English is how the appended -d is a common error amongst the English pronouncing Gaelic names. The name Donald arose from a common English mispronunciation of the Gaelic name Donal. Just how it is with donal becoming donald and the two becoming distinct and the original being regarded as something seperate so too did Isa PBUH turn to Iesous turn to jesus and when they tried going back to the original they confused it for yeshua ( ysu is how it is actually written) for Isa PBUH ( 3'eysah ) Schlözer in his preparation for the Arabia expedition in 1781 coined the term Semitic language: "From the Mediterranean to the Euphrates, from Mesopotamia to Arabia ruled one language, as is well known. Thus Syrians, Babylonians, Hebrews, and Arabs were one people (ein Volk). Phoenicians (Hamites) also spoke this language, which I would like to call the Semitic (die Semitische)." -Before Boas: The Genesis of Ethnography and Ethnology in the German By Han F. Vermeulen. He was only half right though, Arabic is the only corollary to "proto-semitic", infact the whole semitic classification is nonsensical as will be shown. "protosemetic" Alphabet (28), Arabic Alphabet (28), Latin transliteration, hebrew (22) 𐩠 𐩡 𐩢 𐩣 𐩤 𐩥 𐩦 𐩧 𐩨 𐩩 𐩪 𐩫 𐩬 𐩭 𐩮 𐩰 𐩱 𐩲 𐩳 𐩴 𐩵 𐩶 𐩷 𐩸 𐩹 𐩺 𐩻 𐩼 ا ب ت ث ج ح خ د ذ ر ز س ش ص ض ط ظ ع غ ف ق ك ل م ن ه و ي A b t ṯ j h kh d ḏ r z s sh ṣ ḍ ṭ ẓ ʿ ġ f q k l m n h w y א ב ג ד ה ו ז ח ט י כ ל מ נ ס ע פ צ ק ר ש ת Merged phonemes in hebrew and aramaic: ح, خ (h, kh) merged into only kh consonant remain س, ش (s, sh) merged into only Shin consonant remaining ط, ظ (ṭ/teth, ẓ) merged into only ṭ/teth consonant remaining ص, ض (ṣ, ḍ/Tsad ) merged into only ḍ/Tsad consonant remaining ع, غ (3'ayn, Ghayn) merged into a reducted ayin consonant remaining ت, ث (t/taw, th) merged into only t/taw consonant remaining The reason why the protoS alphabet here is 28 and not 29, is because the supposed extra letter is simply a س written in a different position, but it was shoehorned to obfuscated. In Arabic letter shapes are different depending on whether they are in the beginning , middle or end of a word. As a matter of fact, all of the knowledge needed for deciphering ancient texts and their complexity was derived from the Qur'an. It was by analyzing the syntactic structure of the Qur'an that the Arabic root system was developed. This system was first attested to in Kitab Al-Ayin, the first intralanguage dictionary of its kind, which preceded the Oxford English dictionary by 800 years. It was through this development that the concept of Arabic roots was established and later co-opted into the term 'semitic root,' allowing the decipherment of ancient scripts. In essence, they quite literally copied and pasted the entirety of the Arabic root. Hebrew had been dead, as well as all the other dialects of Arabic, until being 'revived' in a Frankensteinian fashion in the 18th and 19th centuries. The entire region spoke basically the same language, with mumbled dialect continuums spread about, and Arabic is the oldest form from which all these dialects branched off. As time passed, the language gradually became more degenerate, Language; When one looks at the actual linguistics, one will find that many were puzzled by the opposite, that is, how the other "semetic" languages were more "evolved" than Arabic, while Arabic had archaic features, not only archaic compared to bibilical Hebrew, Ethiopic, "Aramaic" contemporary "semetic" languages, but even archaic compared to languages from ancient antiquity; Ugaritic, Akkadain. What is meant here by Archaic is not what most readers think, it is Archaic not in the sense that it is simple, but rather that it is complex (think Latin to pig Latin or Italian or Old English, which had genders and case endings to modern English), not only grammatically, but also phonetically; All the so called semitic languages are supposed to have evolved from protosemetic, the Alphabet for protosemitic is that of the so called Ancient South Arabian (which interestingly corresponds with the traditional Arabic origins account) and has 28 Phonemes. Arabic has 28 phonemes. Hebrew has 22, same as Aramaic, and other "semitic" languages. Now pause for a second and think about it, how come Arabic, a language that is supposed to have come so late has the same number of letters as a language that supposedly predates it by over a millennium (Musnad script ~1300 BCE). Not only is the glossary of phonemes more diverse than any other semitic language, but the grammar is more complex, containing more cases and retains what's linguists noted for its antiquity, broken plurals. Indeed, a linguist has once noted that if one were to take everything we know about languages and how they develop, Arabic is older than Akkadian (~2500 BCE). And then the Qur'an appeared with the oldest possible form of the language thousands of years later. This is why the Arabs of that time were challenged to produce 10 similar verses, and they couldn't. People think it's a miracle because they couldn't do it, but I think the miracle is the language itself. They had never spoken Arabic, nor has any other language before or since had this mathematical precision. And when I say mathematical, I quite literally mean mathematical. Now how is it that the Qur'an came thousands of years later in an alphabet that had never been recorded before, and in the highest form the language had ever taken? The creator is neither bound by time nor space, therefore the names are uttered as they truly were, in a language that is lexically, syntactically, phonemically, and semantically older than the oldest recorded writing. In fact, that writing appears to have been a simplified version of it. Not only that, but it would be the equivalent of the greatest works of any particular language all appearing in one book, in a perfect script and in the highest form the language could ever take. It is so high in fact, that it had yet to be surpassed despite the fact that over the last millennium the collection of Arabic manuscripts when compared on word-per-word basis in Western Museums alone, when they are compared with the collected Greek and Latin manuscripts combined, the latter does not constitute 1 percent of the former as per German professor Frank Griffel, in addition all in a script that had never been recorded before. Thus, the enlightenment of mankind from barbarism and savagery began, and the age of reason and rationality was born from its study. God did bring down the Qur’an, Mohamed is his Messenger.

Christendom was always an empirial religion, born under the auspices of constantine, the subjects were converted at the edge of the sword and rendered into slaves for his majesty, often referring to him as their lord. In Islam such slavery is unthinkable. The only lordship is that of the creator, no station into which man was brought into the lands of Islam was to any degree as bad as the repugnant chattel slavery brought by the primitive tribalism inherent in their texts. Constantine chose regularly to refer to himself as the “servant of God” (famulus dei/therapon tou theou) in official writings. By the fifth century, this metaphor of subordination had been redeployed from theological to political contexts as the subjects of the emperor came to refer to themselves as “slaves of the emperor.” And by the sixth, Justinian insisted all his officials swear an oath that they would demonstrate their service to the emperor “with genuine slavehood” (gnesia douleia).b Building on Paul’s revalorization of the vocabulary of slavery, and particularly the word doulos came to be applied to a variety of hierarchical relationships, even as it also continued to be used specifically of chattel slaves. By the middle Byzantine period, this expansion of the semantic range of the root doul- eventually gave the abstract nominal form douleia, meaning laborer Insofar as everyone who partook in labor was considered to be a participant This epistemological world view is coherent with master-slave dynamic relationship between the head of the state and his subjects, or rather slaves. The word עוֹלֵל, ʿôlēl which means 'Babe, infant, little one, a suckling' occurs 21 King James Bible Verses Of these verses: “Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.” -Psalm 137:9 “Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.”-1 Samuel 15:3 “Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.”-Hosea 13:16 The other verses are not much different. Infact it is always in association with violence. Indeed these verses are the reason why in the Crusades the sense of pious rejoicing at massacre does not appear to be the product of later theologizing; it is also found, in the account of the eye-witness Raymond of Aguilers: “in the Temple and porch of Solomon, men rode in blood up to their knees and bridle reins. Indeed, it was a just and splendid judgment of God that this place should be filled with the blood of the unbelievers, since it had suffered so long from their blasphemies.” In fact, Raymond continues, “This day, I say, will be famous in all future ages, for it turned our labours and sorrows into joy and exultation; this day, I say, marks the justification of all Christianity, the humiliation of paganism, and the renewal of our faith.” Another account by a chronicler and eyewitness-priest, Albert of Aachen, describes the killing of fleeing women, and depicts crusaders as:: “seizing [infants who were still suckling] by the soles of their feet from their mothers’ laps or their cradles…and dashing them against the walls or lintels of the doors and breaking their necks […] they were sparing absolutely no gentile of any age or kind.”The incoherence inherent in a stranger to Abraham calling the children of Abraham gentiles notwithstanding, this account evokes the very same Psalm 137:9 imprecation against Babylon, in Latin, “beatus qui tenebit et adlidet parvulos tuos ad petram.” Albert describes a massacre occurring, in cold blood, on the second day following the conquest, painting a scene that is as horrific as it is realistic and detailed: "Girls, women, matrons, tormented by fear of imminent death and horror-struck by the violent murder wrapped themselves around the Christians’ bodies in the hope to save their lives, even as the Christians were raving and venting their rage in murder of both sexes. Some threw themselves at their feet, begging them with pitiable weeping and wailing for their lives and safety. When children five or three years old saw the cruel fate of their mothers and fathers, of one accord they stepped up the weeping and pitiable clamour. But they were making these signals for pity and mercy in vain. For the Christians gave over their whole hearts to murder, so that not a suckling little male-child or female, not even an infant of one year would escape the hand of the murderer". Evoking several of these verses in practice: - (Num 31:17-18) Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. - (Deut 7:2, 9:3, Num 21) thou shalt smite them, and utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them... - (Ezek 9:6) Slay utterly old [and] young both maids and little children and women: but come not near any man upon whom [is] mark begin at my sanctuary. This is the polar opposite in the Quran in Surah Al-Tanwir, literally "The Englightenining" Surah, Aya 8-9, we have the death of a newborn is mentioned amongst the penultimate signs of the end of times, emphasizing the gravity of such an action. That child, now resurrected, is asked for what wrong doing was she murdered. This is to emphasize that she had done nothing wrong, for she had done nothing wrong and this is the day of retribution where those who omitted the evil are to be punished. This is the polar opposite in the Qur'an, Surah Al-Baqara Aya 190, which exhorts to fight unbelievers and not be "Aggressors", in the commentary of what it means to be aggressors, this was stated Al-Hasan Al-Basri stated that transgression (indicated by the Ayah): "includes mutilating the dead, theft (from the captured goods), killing women, children and old people who do not participate in warfare, killing priests and residents of houses of worship, burning down trees and killing animals without real benefit." This is also the opinion of Ibn `Abbas, `Umar bin `Abdul-`Aziz, Muqatil bin Hayyan and others. Muslim recorded in his Sahih that Buraydah narrated that Allah's Messenger said: "Fight for the sake of Allah and fight those who disbelieve in Allah. Fight, but do not steal, commit treachery, mutilate, or kill a child, or those who reside in houses of worship." It is reported in the Two Sahihs that Ibn `Umar said, "The Prophet forbade killing women and children." بابتداء القتال أو بقتال من نهيتم عن قتاله من النساء والشيوخ والصبيان والذين بينكم وبينهم عهد أو بالمثلة أو بالمفاجأة من غير دعوة "To kill those whom you were forbidden to from women, elderly, children and those whom betwixt you is a treaty or custom or by surprise or without cause" -Tafsir Al-Zamakshari of the meaning of Aggressors in the Aya More hadith from Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah: حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ، مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ مَوْلَى لِبَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا بَعَثَ جُيُوشَهُ قَالَ: «§لَا تَقْتُلُوا أَصْحَابَ الصَّوَامِعِ» "Do not kill the dwellers of monasteries" حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ جُوَيْبِرٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ قَالَ: كَانَ «§يُنْهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ الْمَرْأَةِ، وَالشَّيْخِ الْكَبِيرِ» سَعْدٍ قَالَ: «§نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالذُّرِّيَّةِ، وَالشَّيْخِ الْكَبِيرِ الَّذِي لَا حَرَاكَ بِهِ» "The prophet forbids the killing of women, children, and the elderly" This is the polar opposite in the Qur'an, Surah Al-Anfal Ayah 61 in which even oath breaking deniers/unbelievers are allowed to sue for peace states if the unbelievers they ask for peace, give it to them. Stephen Langton, the writer of the Magna Carta (12th century, contemporary with the crusades for a reason) studied in the university of Paris which archives show had plenty of Arabic treatises in its procession, there can be no question about it being inspired by the "Sharia". both the renessiance and the european enlightenment were directly preceded by massive translation movements form Arabic (see the Republic of Letters by Alexander Bevilacqua, The House of Wisdom: How the Arabs Transformed Western Civilization By: Jonathan Lyons. The modifiable testament testament commands indiscriminate killing, genocide, plunder, mutilation, enslavement, or torture of enemies, including women, on the other hand.Surah Al-Baqara Aya 190 limits war to those who fight against Muslims, prohibits transgression, and implies respect for human dignity and life Indeed it is what precedes the famous "sword verse", always cited out of context. God did bring down the Qur’an, Mohamed is his Messenger.

In response to "Hebrew had been dead, as well as all the other dialects of Arabic, until being 'revived' in a Frankensteinian fashion in the 18th and 19th centuries." When did Hebrew fall out of use? And, what were the cultural/societal conditions that led to that? And what caused the reemergence?

Languages degrade, they do not "evolve". It is a tool for thinking, not communication, it is what seperates other lifeforms from humans. The mere fact that translation is even possible underlies a common origin for all languages, orca whales seperated from their birth pod are unable to communicate with other whales if they get adopted, they are only able to track the others visually. Mecca is mentioned in the Assyrian inscriptions of Tiglath-Pileser III (8th century BC) as Makan, a region ruled by the Arab queen Samsi. Others have proposed that Mecca is referred to in the Old Testament as Paran or Teman, places associated with Ishmael and his descendants. Still others have pointed out that Mecca is attested in some ancient South Arabian inscriptions as Makkah or Makkahum, meaning "temple" or "sanctuary". The name of Mecca is first recorded by the Greek geographer Ptolemy, who calls it Macoraba in the 2nd century AD but Greek has a limited ability of capturing Arabic it is infact Markorava (Μακόραβα) and not Macroba as is often localized Greek is known to morph to suit tongue of speakers, the word for Jesus as his name is often misspelled due to the lack of the ayin sound in Greek, which was rendered to Iesous, coupling the nearest sound to ayin, same letter found in 'Iraq', which sounds entirely different in Arabic form 'Iran' in Arabic, with the -ous Greek suffix that Greeks typically add to their names 'HerodotOS', 'PlotinUS', 'AchelOUS' and later mumbled into a J. The original is "Isa" as it is in the Quran Arabic. Classical Arabic has largest phonemic inventories among semitic languages. It has 28 consonants (29 with Hamza) and 6 vowels (3 short and 3 long). Some of these sounds are rare or absent in other semitic languages. For example, - Classical Arabic has two pharyngeal consonants /ʕ/ (ع) and /ħ/ (ح). These sounds are found only in some semitic languages (Hebrew and Amharic), but not in others (Akkadian and Aramaic). - Classical Arabic has two emphatic consonants /sˤ/ (ص) and /dˤ/ (ض) These sounds are found only in some semitic languages (Hebrew and Amharic), but not in others (Akkadian and Aramaic). - Classical Arabic has two glottal consonants /ʔ/ (ء) and /h/ (ه), which are produced by opening and closing the glottis ). Akkadian has lost the glottal stop /ʔ/, while Aramaic has lost both the glottal stop and the glottal fricative /h/. - Classical Arabic has six vowel phonemes /a/, /i/, /u/, /æ /, /e/, /o/, which can be short or long. Akkadian has only three vowel phonemes /a/, /i/, /u/, which can be short or long, while Aramaic has only two vowel phonemes /a/ and /i/, which can be short or long. |Classical Arabic | 28 consonants, 29 with Hamza and 6 vowels; some consonants are emphatic or pharyngealized; some vowels are marked with diacritics | Complex system of word formation based on roots and patterns; roots are sequences of consonants that carry the basic meaning of a word; patterns are sequences of vowels and affixes that modify the meaning and function of a word | Flexible word order, but VSO is most common; SVO is also possible; subject and object are marked by case endings (-u for nominative, -a for accusative, -i for genitive); verb agrees with subject in person, number, and gender; verb has different forms for different moods and aspects | | Akkadian | 22 consonants and 3 vowels; some consonants are glottalized or palatalized; vowels are not marked | Similar system, but with different roots and patterns; some roots have more than three consonants; some patterns have infixes or reduplication | Fixed word order of SVO; subject and object are not marked by case endings, but by prepositions or word order; verb agrees with subject in person, number, and gender; verb has different forms for different tenses and aspects | | Aramaic | 22 consonants and 3 vowels (later variants have more); no emphatic or pharyngealized consonants (except in some dialects); vowels are not marked (except in later variants such as Syriac) | Simple system of word formation based on prefixes and suffixes; some roots or patterns exist, but are less productive than in Arabic or Akkadian | Let's start with a simple sentence: ## The house is big Arabic: البيتُ كبيرٌ al-bayt-u kabīr-un Proto-Semitic: *ʔal-bayt-u kabīr-u Hebrew: הבית גדול ha-bayit gadol Akkadian: bītum rabûm Amharic: ቤቱ ገደሉ betu gedelu As can be seen, Arabic and Proto-Semitic have the same word order (noun-adjective), the same definite article (al-), and the same case endings (-u for nominative). Hebrew and Akkadian have lost the case endings and changed the definite article (ha- and -um respectively). Amharic has changed the word order (adjective-noun) and the definite article (u-). But Arabic is not only similar to Proto-Semitic, it is also pre-Semitic, meaning that it is the original form of Semitic before it split into different branches. This is because Arabic preserves many features that are not found in any other Semitic language, but are found in other Afro-Asiatic languages, such as Egyptian and Berber. These features include: - The definite article al-, which is derived from the demonstrative pronoun *ʔal- 'that'. This article is unique to Arabic among Semitic languages, but it is similar to the article n- in Berber and the article p-, t-, n- in Egyptian. - The dual number for nouns and verbs, which is marked by the suffix -ān or -ayn. This number is rare in other Semitic languages, but it is common in other Afro-Asiatic languages, such as Egyptian and Berber. - The imperfective prefix t- for verbs, which indicates the second person singular feminine or third person plural feminine. This prefix is unique to Arabic among Semitic languages, but it is similar to the prefix t- in Berber and Egyptian. - The passive voice for verbs, which is marked by the infix t between the first and second root consonants. This voice is unique to Arabic among Semitic languages, but it is similar to the passive voice in Egyptian and Berber. Finally, a more complex sentence: The letter was written with a pen. Arabic: كُتِبَتِ الرِّسَالَةُ بِالقَلَمِ kutiba-t al-risāla-t-u bi-l-qalam-i Proto-Semitic: *kutiba-t ʔal-risāla-t-u bi-l-qalam-i Hebrew: המכתב נכתב בעט ha-michtav niktav ba-et Akkadian: šipram šapāru bēlum Egyptian: sḏm.n.f p-ẖry m rnp.t Berber: tturra-t tibratin s uccen Here, Arabic and Proto-Semitic have the same word order (verb-subject-object), the same passive voice marker (-t-), the same definite article (al-), and the same preposition (bi-). Hebrew has changed the word order (subject-verb-object), lost the passive voice marker, changed the definite article (ha-) and the preposition (ba-). Akkadian has changed the word order (object-subject-verb), lost the passive voice marker, changed the definite article (-um) and the preposition (bēlum). hbrew was considered dead by 0 C.E. time, hence "Aramaic" was spoken Now how is it that the Qur'an came thousands of years in a language that is lexically, syntactically, phonemically, and semantically older than the oldest recorded writing? Now how is it that the Qur'an came thousands of years later in an alphabet that had never been recorded before, and in the highest form the language had ever taken? God did bring down the Qur’an, Mohamed is his Messenger.

The big problem with a lot of the archived materials is the missing digitalisation and online availability for everybody. This slows down the research worldwide. The decision to rather spend billions on other projects is taken by governments and the archive custodians. Some simply want to keep a control and power. To humiliate humans who must surrender and crawl on the doorsteps of their treasure vaults. With lengthy procedures and appointments. Nothing of this will be required if the stuff they hoard since centuries is finally made accessible in a dignifying fashion appropriate for a 21st century. And that these archive prison guards show more respect and less arrogance towards the millions of smart humans who will be able to discover far more in the collections than what a jealous bureaucratic hoarder will be able to read out between his coffee pauses, lunch times and holidays. Not to forget here that restrictions due to copy rights and cash grabbing business of state owned archives have to be terminated. For the sake of human right to its past without kisses to the feet of the archive priesthood.

At 31:36. There is a clear distinction between Muslim (Islam) and Mu'min (Iman). They are not interchangeable. There is also a third term, Ihsan. So the three terms are Islam, Iman, Ihsan. Without getting into technical details, one can say that they are three levels of one's spiritual status with God, Ihsan being the highest. These terms are not used randomly in the Qur'an, and they have not come to mean/signify anything different over time. I am surprised Mr. Donner is not aware of the ample literature available on the subject.

When Europeans co-opted Jesus and made their iconography into their ideal: blond haired blue eyes fair skinned, the Prophet Muhammad grew from the same Abrahamic roots to appeal to a different population, one who had the background and traditions to appeal to a different population. I believe there have been many Prophet and saints. Zoroaster, Krishna, Gilgamesh, and countless others lost to time. God did not ignore the peoples of Asia, South America, Indonesia, China, Russia for millennia. He appeared to them and through their prophets and saints. The Baghavad Gita specifically explains how it’s easier for people to connect with an incarnation of Divinity than it is to worship the Oneness, the Unity of everything. For the peoples of the Middle East the Prophet Muhammad is that incarnation of Divinity. That’s what my belief and opinion is.

So… let’s take all these religious with a humongous pinch of salt shall we. Admitting there is no god, examining evolutionary biology, comprehending the vastness and coldness of the universe, understanding how long it took life to evolve (millions of years, millions and millions of years) facing your fears and the harsh cold realities that life is a fluke - is the true enlightenment, rather than burying your head in sand with religions.

Jahannam in the Quran is Gehenna, where the apocalypse is suppose to take place. Bakkah in the Quran is mentioned in the Bible as a rest stop to Jerusalem. Islam at it's core is based on Judeo-Christian traditions but heavily distorted by political factors where Muslims have no idea where their religion comes from. They think it came from a prophet named Muhammad but if you notice in the Quran, you get no real information about Muhammad as prophet but you come across Jesus plenty of times. The Dome of Rock inscriptions is about Jesus with no information who is MHMD as an individual but when you consider the subject matter, MHMD is most certainly Jesus. Jesus is the messenger of Allah. The Christology of Jesus matches well with Nestorian Christology that Jesus has two full natures and they are not intermixed. The historical "Islamic Muhammad" of the Arab conquests, at best, was Walid ibn Khalid, who was called Al Farooq, the Redeemer, the Savior, the one who divides between good , and bad, also known as Umar. About the climate question ~1:10-1:13. The years 535-536 saw the most extreme climate the last 2000 years, probably from vulcanic eruption. This affected communities in the north more thought, maybe 50% of population in Scandinavia starved to death, than in the ME. Furthermore, there is no need to seek for climate catastrophe. Since Islam rose against the backdrop of the Justinian plague 541-549 AD and against the backdrop of the terrible devastating horrible war between the Sassanids and Byzantine empire 572-591 that laid waste to the ME. So, the question had some foundation but was overall pretty uninformed.

@@muhammedali2578 The question I was commenting. Was speculating about a destabalizing climate catastrophe paving the way for the Arab explosion. My answer is that no such climate catastrophy is necessary. The war between the Sassanid Empire and the Roman Empire depleted their resouces. But more importantly, delegitimized them in the Levant. The war seesawed back and forth, back and forth, across the Levant. First the Sassanids sacking a city. Then a year after, the Romans sacking that city. Then the Sassanids sacking and massmurdering again. I believe that this terrible war made many people in the Levant feel an utter disgust with these two outside powers that devastated THEIR region but were not based there. So, this is a much better explanation than a climate catastrophe. The early battles described in Muslim tradition are neither here nor there for this particular question. They do not affect the discussion about the conditions that preceded for the rise of Islam/the Arab empire. The early battles from Muslim tradition describe the actual process of the establishment of the rule of Islam / the Arab Empire. So, different question.

Once these lost one battle, the Arabs consolidated the ME, which they had been policing anyway. I believe that the war 572-591 was the breaking point, the outside Empires had proven to all the people of the ME that they were malicious destructive parasites. First the Sassanids would sack a city, then a year later the Byzantines, then the Sassanids again. The ME just had enough and were ready to join forces with a force that arose out of the ME itself, such as the Arab Foederati. Sure ! You wrote the current dogma, defined by the Abbassids. The very early arab believers were having another dogma. They were a sort of not rabbinic jews following an anti chalcedonic christianity, precisely Nasaras, arabs Nasaras. Nasara doest stand for Christian. They were nasara muhajirun who joined at Hijra, to call the Ghassanids armees to destroy the byzantium armees and take the control of Jerusalem. That is why the 1st real organisation was located in Damascus, by Muawyia 1st. Even the first shahada was not mentionning the rassul. Again, the powerful dogma came 200 years later with Al Hajjaj and Al Mamun. That dogma required to say that THE gospel was a corrupted Qur'an. But this gospel was the Diatessaron of the Nasara. There are almost 150 different gospels, and nobody pretends that they were written by god and corrupted..., only the story of one guy : Issa. Not more. The concept of chirk who defines the Massiyun, comes later as a construction of power. Nothing to do with faith. I think worth you, muminun, to revisit your dogma. You are likely cousins to us in this great story.

It is very hard to give that sort of insight with any kind of certainty, as most religious characters and their founders, as depicted in the various holy books of the religion itself, are typically very detached from actual real history. This applies to all "abrahamic" religions present still today.

@@dr.vegetable Well, that depends on who you ask, and when. If you tell an average Christian, that none of the sayings or deeds of Jesus can be traced to an actual historical figure, they don't take too kind to that sort of stuff. Nor do Jews (at least the religious kind), when you tell them their exodus never _actually_ happened, nor did their Moses _actually_ even exist. So, while I agree that there's a lot more room for "human error" and "interpretation" and such, a very "literal" meaning to the stories at the core is at least to some degree present in all three.

7:07 The concept of revelation often involves individuals claiming to receive messages or insights from a divine source. However, interpretation of such experiences varies widely. Some view these claims skeptically, attributing them to delusion or other psychological factors, while others accept them as genuine connections with the divine. Ultimately, how one perceives revelation depends on personal beliefs and perspectives. Some may choose to ridicule the concept, while others respect individuals' beliefs and experiences, allowing them to interpret their encounters with the divine as they see fit. Either we deny the concept or make fun of everyone.

They central key event for Islam to rise up and become a world religion was because of the loss of the Ghassanids against the rebels of the time (which was later rewritten as the Battle at Yarmuk between the Byzantines and Rashidun), paved the way thus for the early Arab movement to develop Al-Islam with the help of scholars from Persia who builded the Arabic lexicography. It is interesting that the earliest Neolithic sites are concerned about the passage of time as accurately as possible because they were tied to the earliest civilisations founded around agriculture but the Muslim calendar is based on the lunar year which is the least accurate. They didn’t need to be accurate because the Arabs were traders not agriculturalists. This is a fundamental weakness in a universal religion at a time when the solar calendar was well known and accepted as far more accurate needing the fewest conversions or additions and subtractions to work out what time of year it was.
@SamuraiKage-iv3ow
@SamuraiKage-iv3ow Жыл бұрын
Here is a fact: The lunar calendar (Islamic Hijri) shifts 11 days against the solar calendar (Gregorian). A religious reason for selecting the lunar calendar is to have equity in religious practices. For example fastting the month of Ramadan would not be fixed to a particular season but rather year after year, throughout the world, the month of fasting will shift by 11 days and in 36 year a person would have fasted throughout all the seasons. Furthermore, who stated that the lunar calendar isn't accurate?
@mspaint93
@mspaint93 Жыл бұрын
@@SamuraiKage-iv3ow Least accurate, not wholy innacurate. It doesn't account for a complete rotation of the earth around the sun, which measures our days and seasons and everything else, hence a solar calender is more reliable. The lunar calendar functionally just measures the moon. This is also not very useful for modern computing systems. A solar calender still isn't perfectly accurate in regards to intergers in measuring the true nature of time (a year being 365.2472 days), but it still requires far less unintuitive interference (just one day every 4 years) than the lunar calender matching the moon. Essentially, the only pro of a lunar calender is literally just for Islamic spiritual purposes, but in every other metric solar calenders are more accurate and convieniant.

@shqiptariidukagjinit5650 Жыл бұрын
What makes a calendar accurate and inaccurate? Do you think the Lunar Calendar is inaccurate because it doesn’t equate to the Solar Calendar? The only reason why your calendar has 365 days is because you chose to base a year off the revolution of the Earth around the sun. A year does not have to be based off one revolution. I can base a year off the moon, the stars, the seasons, and whatever I wanted to. The Islamic calendar was a new calendar created specifically for the Muslims, not for agriculture.

@@shqiptariidukagjinit5650There isn't such a thing as the year of the moon, as the Earth isn't revolving around the Moon. On the other hand, solar year is basically the time it takes the Earth to orbit the Sun. Also, the islamic calendar wasn't created for Muslims, and it was used long before Muhammad was born. We don't have many sources for that, but it's only reasonable to conclude as we know (from the traditional narrative of hadith) that preIslamic Meccans had four sacred months and we do have the names of the months

The answer of those Muslims who are a bit more instructed is that passage of the Quran that says that "idolaters" and non-believers can't go there. Again, I believe in God as this scholar explained, there wasn't such a strong division at the beginning of "Islam"

Some apparent wisdoms 1- In order to show the pride and holiness of this place and distinguishing it from other places. It is the purest spot on the face of the earth and the qibla of Muslims from all over the world, when they pray for Allah. So Allah designated her for this. 2- Every country and every place has its own laws and rules that people must adhere to. By the way, these rules are made by humans. Why is it not permissible to set special conditions for this place, not from humans but from the Lord of humans?! 3- Because of the sanctity of this place and its status before God and among Muslims and being considered as the source and first center of Islam, non-Muslims, including infidels, Christians, etc., were prevented from entering it because they are not considered worthy of entering such a holy mosque, because polytheism and disbelief are moral impurity like physical impurity of the body. 4-There is also another reason, which is just a security precaution, so that they do not tamper with it or try to corrupt it in any way. Believers in islamic definition are just those, who follow the message of the prophet Mohammad(PBUH) and accept just Allah as the only one God who is worship worthy. for this reason, it is not sufficient to belive at something(or call yourself believer) to be able to visit Makka. It is only for muslims Hopefully this answers some of your questions about that. Best regards

This story sounds a lot like the Joseph Smith story and the golden plates that he buried, but were never found because, as he says they were taken by the angel Moroni. It is so obvious to me that any religion that is exclusive to some humans is fabricated by another human, especially those that consider themselves to be "chosen" as if a creator of the universe would exclude one group of people, and favor another. Of course, if you are writing the book, you are going to make your tribe the "chosen" one.

@@mahbubellahi9191 I appreciate your answer here but I think to say that other sects are so "messed up" is the whole basis he is trying to explain here, all he is saying is that we have been fed one sided and biased narratives that have changed so much since the life of our prohpet that muslims are blindly accepting hadith and history that may not be true at all, for example the term Muslim and Islam were also mentioned in the early covenants of the jews and christians....we can't accept hadith in the same manner as the Quran. Hadith even when completely 'sahih' has been narrated in almost a chinese whisper methodology and when comparing two same narrations by different narrators it's clear to see there was no consensus on some key information between the narrators, just proving the point that Hadith is a good foundation but should not be used to narrate history from a historians pov due to the sheer biases. You aren't to know which sect is really messed up and which is truly on the right path from these hadith as they are subjective. JaazakAllah

And Yes, all prophets from Adam, Nuh, Ibrahim, Ismael, Musa, Issa, Muhamad.. (peace be upon them), are all Muslims in the sense that they surrender/submission to Allah, and call people to that one same idea. As per jurisprudence, Allah the Almighty tells us that it varies from era to era, from people to people, but the sole aim is to test that one and only pillar: submission to Allah's commands.

I will mentioned only three of my remarks here: 1- the major religious stream in Mecca was the belief of Ibrahim (Abraham). The people of Mecca believed in the one God. However, many of them had distorted views of the one God and worshipped him differently. 2- Prophet Mohammed was a descendant of Ibrahim and one of the minority that didn't go astray. 3-Prophet Mohammed, like all messengers of god before him, never claimed to be a founder of a new belief, rather, commanded to reform the original belief, and his message complements this belief to be a comprehensive way of life.

He has a bachelors in oriental studies and so far (43 minutes into this lecture) he has used mostly conjecture and no facts. He actually almost made me laugh when he tried to use the word mu’mineen (believers) to prove the idea that Muslim and believers are different. Every Muslim alive knows that Muslim is one who submits to Allah and that a mu’mineen is a reference to Muslims who have reached a deeper level of understanding in their religion. Yes it’s interchangeable with Muslim when used in certain context like Amir Al-mu’mineen but this doesn’t change the overall understanding of the underlying meaning of these words

I am always confused whether guys like this don't seem to grasp while they're explaining their whole "alternate" theory of the "Believers' movement," and the way it was conceived of as a monotheist revival movement not distinct from prior revivals..... that this is still how Muslims view themselves today. And when he is going on about how "well, it wasn't a 'religion' per se....." this is also like a mainstay of Islamic discourse, making the claim to a universalism that transcends the English word "religion" or Arabic equivalent "milla." This is why the word "deen" is so central in the Arabic discourse for the last 1400 years and why it's also so central in English, sometimes to the point of influential Muslim proselytizers rejecting the word "religion" altogether. If a Jew or Christian follows Muhammad, then they're Muslim. That's the whole point, that's the central claim of Islam as a worldview. It would also be totally normative in Islam to have non-Muslim governors over non-Muslim populaces. Nothing there that the supposedly unreliable Muslim "origins myths" don't already include. This theory isn't saying anything new. It's also completely possible for them to act as allies and protected peoples within the Islamic movement, even if they don't fully Believe in every part of the movement's creed etc. So this is consistent with the Islamic sources both modern and early. Westerners love to repeat stuff other people already knew in a condescending way, and then feel like they just blew someone out the water. Then to fortify that, he just starts going into massive, pure speculation and assumptions / theories about changing the meaning of words, "Islamicizing of Islam" and all this other speculative stuff to justify why he likes to call other people's histories "myths." Lol.

The Prophet Muhammad is considered to be the founder of Islam and is revered by Muslims as a messenger of God. The message of the Prophet Muhammad, as conveyed in the Islamic holy book, the Qur'an, is that there is only one true God, Allah, and that Muhammad is his prophet. The central message of Islam is that there is only one God and that Muhammad is the final prophet in a line of prophets that includes Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. The message of the Prophet Muhammad is that all people should submit to the will of God, follow the teachings of the Qur'an, and strive to live a righteous and moral life in accordance with the principles of Islam.

Why do Muslims think that by ignoring criticism and analysis they'll do anything other than embarrass themselves and make Islam look wrong? The core idea at Islam's heart is that a god, Allah, exists. Well _present strong, logical evidence proving Allah exists._ Prove the very first step of the idea is true. When you discover you can't, will you be intellectually honest enough to admit you don't know it's true?

I think the way it works is that, for one, religion is made for and meant for the one who is, first of all, interested in or attracted to God. Then what happens is that they are either guided towards, attracted to, or go seeking the books of God that are available to him or her, and these books vary by geography. In this day, in most regions, all books are available to people to study and compare. Many people are held back from any large scale objective study, due to family and cultural ties, to fears of ostracization, to prideful dispositions etc, and other various fears or insecurities, so freedom is also an issue. For the rare individual who gets to study it all for himself or herself, without bias … may God guide you, may you stay as close to the Source as possible, rather than the million interpretations, may you see all the similarities rather than the differences, may you understand that many Religions have been corrupted by people over time, may you know that they were given to specific areas for specific people, at specific times, under specific circumstances, which may attribute to differences, and may you see the good in all of them, and may you believe that if God came once, maybe he came many times, maybe He will come again to clear things up, especially when the world is so divided, and maybe He/She already came specifically for this modern/lost world, and you missed it, or you haven't found it yet! ♥

@@Suleiman212 Yes, a disappointing comment, but please consider, that this man seems to be an Atheist (and it is and what follows are pure speculations), meaning he doesn't believe in all that regarding religions, and his interest in the matter is purely for the history behind it. This man doesn't believe that messages were sent from god and doesn't believe that prophets delivered those messages, and there is no 'rational' explanation, as to why Quran was delivered in Arabic. You have to be a man of faith, which means believing in something you haven't witnessed or experienced and just have faith that it happened, in order to believe that about God, messages and prophets. I had this feeling from the very beginning, and all I expected from him is sincerity in his analysis of the history itself, which to me was somewhat fair taking into account that he was relying on material evidence. He did muslims justice, by at least not repeating the western narrative and accepting that they were fair and tolerant towards other religions in the area.

The assertion that the Quran doesn't talk about the events around Mohammed isn't correct. It's mostly guidance addressing issues that Mohammed and Muslims are dealing with. It's not a book of religious rituals but better described as guidance on how to conduct oneself and serves as foundational legal document. Here are a few examples: 1. The Battle of Badr: Surah Al-Anfal (Chapter 8) contains several verses that deal with the Battle of Badr, a significant battle in the early years of Islam. Verses like 8:12-17 provide divine guidance and reassurance to the Muslims during this battle. 2. The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah: In Surah Al-Fath (Chapter 48), verses 48:1-29, the Quran addresses the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, a peace agreement between the Muslims and the Quraysh tribe of Mecca. This event was significant as it marked a turning point in the relations between Muslims and their opponents. 3. The Incident of Ifk: Surah An-Nur (Chapter 24) addresses the false accusation against Aisha, the wife of Prophet Muhammad, in the Incident of Ifk. Verses 24:11-20 deal with the accusations and emphasize the importance of avoiding slander and false accusations. 4. Migration to Abyssinia: Surah Az-Zumar (Chapter 39), verse 39:53, is believed to be revealed in the context of the migration of early Muslims to Abyssinia. It addresses those who might have felt despair due to the persecution they faced in Mecca. 5. Boycott of the Banu Hashim: Surah Al-Buruj (Chapter 85) discusses the persecution faced by the early Muslims, including the boycott of the Banu Hashim, Prophet Muhammad's clan, by the Quraysh tribe. 6. The Change of the Qibla: Surah Al-Baqarah (Chapter 2), verses 2:142-150, address the change of the direction of prayer (Qibla) from Jerusalem to Mecca. This was a significant event as it marked a form of separation from the previous Jewish and Christian traditions.

Yes. Surah Ar-ra'd (the thunder) 13:28, says "Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction". This is saying that in THE REMEMBERANCE OF ALLAH the heart finds rest (satisfaction, serenity, tranquility). How do you remember Allah? That's by remembering him through the recitation of the Quran, which means that the verses revealed to Prophet Muhammad from the very beginning was recited over and over thus knowing every word and line (Ayah) by heart. And this is how the Quran was preserved from the very beginning as the revelations began, so they were not forgotten. Today millions of Muslims around the world continues this tradition of memorizing the Quran by heart, even though after the Prophet (saw) death when it was written down for teaching and taking it to other nations.

Jewish tribes in Madinah were treated according to the way they behaved in war situations. That treatment falls under 3 categories: the one you mention (the harshest) was because they reneged on the war pact they had with Muslims. So, once the Muslim army went out of Madinah to face the attacking armies, that particular Jewish tribe (who stayed behind because as dhimmis, they are defended by Muslim army and hence don't have the obligation to do so) attacked defenceless Muslims (women and children) and had to be punished accordingly. The rights of non Muslims, Jews and non Jews, were granted according to Shariah in the Sahifah of Madinah (the first constitution ever drafted). Lazy clichés will never cut it, professor.

Submission is voluntary, internal or private. Surrender is involuntary, public or political (Islam/surrender/ أَسْلَمْنَا /aslamna - in Quranic terminology is a military term). Therefore, you don't need to be a believer to be a Muslim!!!... See - verse Quran 49:14 - The Bedouins say, 'We believe.' Say: 'You do not believe; rather say, "We surrender"; for belief has not yet entered your hearts. If you obey God and His Messenger, He will not diminish you anything of your works. God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.
