In this episode we talk about The Zamzama Cannon, also known as the Kim's Gun or Bhangianwala Top, is a historic artillery piece located in Lahore, Pakistan. This famous cannon has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. Commissioned by Ahmad Shah Durrani, the founder of the modern state of Afghanistan, the Zamzama Cannon was cast in 1762 by Persian cannon maker Shah Nazir in Lahore.
Weighing around 7 tons, the Zamzama Cannon is an impressive bronze artillery piece, characterised by its intricate design and craftsmanship. Its barrel is adorned with decorative motifs and inscriptions, showcasing the artistic skills of the craftsmen of that era.
The cannon played a significant role in various historical conflicts, including the Anglo-Sikh Wars of the mid-19th century. It gained widespread fame through Rudyard Kipling's novel "The Man Who Would Be King" and has become a symbol of Lahore's historical heritage.
Today, the Zamzama Cannon stands as a testament to the military and artistic achievements of the past, attracting visitors and history enthusiasts from around the world. It is displayed prominently in Lahore's famous Lahore Fort, adding to the cultural and historical richness of the region.

I am punjabi hindu Let me clarify some facts 1- Ahmad shah abdali which attacked india in india for 6- 7 times for looting india 2- maratha lost due to several reason like lack of alliances with sikhs ,heavy winter ,limited food and supplies ,internal conflicts etc 3- After defeat of maratha in third battle of panipat (1761) , abdali kidnapped 22000 marathi women and took them Afghanistan, then sikh leader like jassa singh, hari singh dhillon, and we all punjabi had beaten abdali and rescued these marathi women 4- After that punjabis had safely dropped these women at their expense to theri homes 5- Even after such kind of insult abdali had clashed with sikhs al lot of time but cant defeat sikhs

अहमद शाह अब्दाली अफ़ग़ान के दुर्रानी वंश का था, दुर्रानी अपनी लूट के साथ कत्लेआम के लिए इतने कुख्यात थे कि पंजाब मे आज भी कहावत चलती है "खांदा पीता वाहे दा, बाकि अहमद शाहे दा" मतलब जो खा पी लिया वही अपना है बाकी जो कुछ भी है वो अहमद शाह(अब्दाली) का है|
