Spiral Staircase Modeling in SketchUp

Incredible work as always, my friend. I could sit and watch your videos eternally; it's like watching Bob Ross paint.😅 I would like to thank you for your videos over Black Friday, as I used them as a reminder to go out and splurge on a bunch of new Curic plugins, which I'm very happy with. Please, can I ask/request, are you planning to do any videos relating to Trimble Connect? I say this because somebody in the forum for that did a spiral staircase that's parametric. It doesn't come close to being as interesting as what you've managed to produce here, but I definitely see functional use for it for rapid layouts before developing something to this stage after client approval, etc. I have been playing about with all of the parametric tools and trying to recreate some of my components library, which are mostly dynamic components, into live components, but I'm really struggling because there is hardly any good information available on the tools and how to arrange a graph and what all the different mathematical operators do. I can definitely see live components, now that they are configurable by users, becoming a very important tool for SketchUp in the future because dynamic components, as completely flawed as they are in many ways, still save me quite a lot of time, not to mention having all of the attributes that I can pull out in layout. I would love to see some videos about live components configuration. Anyway, I know that the development is still in the early days, etc., but you are now and have always been at the forefront of all the SketchUp extension developers that I follow. Thanks again for all of the hard work with the videos anyway . I'm sure many other professionals like me really appreciate you putting in the hours to save us all time 🙏.

Regarding your request about Trimble Connect, I have looked into this topic twice in the past but stopped due to a lack of information/documentation, as it's still under development. Excellent tutorial. I have some doubts: - 2:00 Why 16? - 2:07 Why 20? Do these numbers have any relation to any measurement of this specific staircase or is it applicable to any staircase of different widths, treads and cambers?
