I'm just gonna be that guy, that 90 is a placeholder and a bug that's existed for well over a year. I found it myself in early 2023 when I started an alt account. This game isn't MSF, a level cap increase doesn't make sense for CG financially, doesn't make sense for the player base, and breaks the rules that CG has put in place when it comes to hearing and relicing characters. Financially this does nothing for CG as nearly everyone who this will affect in any meaningful way has a massive Credit hoard anyways and won't spend on credits. Credits are also the easiest resource to obtain in the game. It doesn't make sense for the player base in that it would be an extremely unpopular decision and breaks the linear progression system that is in place currently. Currently it's Lvl 85 -> G13 -> R9. Introducing more levels simply doesn't make sense. Would all characters be required to be at Lvl 90 to reach G13? Just new characters? Or would the new levels be required to reach a new Relic level? In which case, why level them up from 85 to 90 before Relic 10? There's simply no rhyme or rhythm to a level cap increase at this stage in the game. TL;DR: That's a placeholder, there's not going to be a level cap increase

I’ve played games where they characters were maxed out at level 80, and afterwards they had special level cap increases that gave additional benefits per level. This method would at least make sense for players, won’t screw up gear and relic tiers, and can make money for CG

My biggest issue with the drop event is the character requirements. Whales and those that have been around may have some of the required characters but for players like me, i never have 7 stars on the characters you need to so these events are a straight wash. Wish they would just give everyone the drops without needing the 7 star characters

Ooof those numbers gotten worse, last time i did a bonus drop event, not the previous one (Gungans), but the one before that. I got around 60-80 ZETAs, cuz i believe i applied like 4-5 ZETA upgrades at that time, Finishing my GAS & 501st Team. And i for sure din't save up 1500+ Energy for that This is quite the downgrade... 😢

Hey Ahnald,I think based on how they word the requirements for the final tier planets in Rise of the Empire as if Relic 9 is a minimum, that they Absolutely plan to do Relic 10 or higher. It reads like it's built into their long term plan.

Drops were on the worse side for me (duh).... Had about 1k energy per type and I got: - 1 Mark 9 per 104 energy - 1 Mark 7 per 101 energy - 1 Omega per 59 energy - 1 Zeta per 103 energy Happy I didn't waste all of my crystals on these refreshes.... CG being CG again

kinda odd chances. with the zetas I did 144 cap + 3 refreshes à 100 plus the lunchtime energy refill and I got about 18 zetas. Don’t wanna spend to much as saving for the next char event but I didn’t find the rate toooo bad really. defo gonna do the 3 refreshes tomorrow as well

am I missing something as you always say if one has a lot of credits then we need to focus on mods more, but it requires more than credits to improve mods and im always short on the other currencies. (such as MK1 Capacitors and MK 1 Amplifiers) whereas I have 1.2B credits

They lowered the drop chances significantly because of those energy packs they released a day or 2 ago, I think its super scummy. Its gotta be illegal in some way to float the notion that a certain amount of energy will always get you around a certain average, drop a new energy pack costing money, then immediately lowering drop rates.

I wish they wouldn't hold these drop events right on top of GAC lock. Seems a little inappropriate to allow Australia to get all these free zetas and kyro and then lock in their GAC rosters, while those of us in the US or EU have to lock in before the drop event starts.

I don’t think this will happen. The developers would be scared of the high risk in such an already buggy game. What I think they could introduce is items that you could attach to your characters to give them bonuses. You could then have to use a resource to upgrade the weapon. Maybe a certain lightsaber gives bonus speed and even more to Jedi characters?

Today I unlocked SLKR, I even did some 400 energy refreshes so I could unlock him before the GAC lock in. I could only take him to Gear 11 because I didn't have enough mk7 kyrotech... I also only had 3 zetas available for him (lightspeed bundle's curse) but I guess G11 SLKR is better than no SLKR...
