I'd be wary of using Vader on defence; I've noticed when going up against a team with Vader on, that he doesn't go into merciless massacre when the AI is controlling him (or at least not straight away).

His AI is entirely designed to be run under Palp. If he's not under palp, he sucks. This is why all these people using defensive vader leads are just giving away free wins. Particularly since almost none of them have zTraya on them, allowing vader to easily be stunlocked by someone like KRU.

I would love to see you do this without legendary characters. You know, for those of us that just don't have them yet. I'm close to unlocking about four to five of them, Thrawn, Palp, BB-8, GM Yoda, and R2, and should be close to CLS after R2, but not yet. I'd like to see your take on it though. For myself, I don't even have any 7* yet, but my base teams I use in 3v3 for defense are... (L) Bastila Shan, Ahsoka, JKA L3-37, Chopper, Zaalbar (L) Finn, Poe, Scav Ray Some variant of Nightsisters and not much after that since most people at my level aren't getting through the first 2.

@@harloncote9248 yep, my best def teams atm are Bastilla/gmy/other jedi, then Night sister teams (just got my zombie leveled), then a Finn with R2 and BB8, or a Grievous/b2/magna guard. I use palp/vader/thrawn on offense to beat the Bastilla teams and keep phoenix on offense for the easier teams to gain back banners with health/prot regen, but that's usually better for 5v5 teams. Hardest team for me to beat atm is a clone trooper team. My sepi's can do it, but i loose a lot of banners if it's a faster or more powerful team. BTW, since my last post, I got all of the legendary's I was working on and am after C3PO now.

One defensive team i ran into that i thought was quite interesting was Aayla lead, Jolee, and a tank (Old Ben for example). It's a great timeout team and if you don't have a nest or a high offense team they're just gonna heal up so much

I don’t have most of them, but also it really matters how your characters are geared/modded/zeta...a lot of this strategy is great, but without a zeta on certain characters it would change lineups drastically, as that is where some key stats/turn meter boosts etc come from...that said I still watch all these videos. They’re fun and show me later how I might deal with end game players and handle this stuff.

JTR BB8 RT > JTR BB8 FINN Like, by far. RT under JTR is stupidly broken, and is the team I usually use for lowmanning stuff in 5v5s - In 3v3s, it's DEADLY. Also, will we be seeing an updated version of this for the new 3v3 season? We've gotten quite a few very notable characters in the past few months. And I'm not even talking about the GLs lol

Perhaps the most annoying defense team I faced last time, was Bastilla, hoda and GK. Healing, foresight and gm training from hoda, buffs and protection from BS and tanking/retri from GK makes it a timeout team that slowly grinds you down. And it is easy to overlook amongst all the other threats.

About half of these are over my level (no GLs, no GAS, no Revans), but I still got some interesting ones out of this that might be useful with the roster I do have. I'm curious with some of these if they stay viable in non-relic, non-zeta teams vs ones that are dependent on specific zetas in particular. Like, is it worth running Finn-RHFinn-RHPoe on defense at low levels if you have none of the zetas? Or does it lose its viability?

Re: beating Rey, send CLS trio in to kill RHFinn if he’s in the team, use burners to bring Reys health down via lifeblood, then finish her off with JKR GAS Thrawn. If you want a real jerk of a defensive 3v3 team, Nute b1 GBA is the way to go. My mvp team from last times with multiple holds against Traya, Padme, DR and JKR teams

Depends what you define as good. For some people who do not face Galactic Legends or anybody with max gear they can get a lot of use out of him. I've heard though a 3 Star 3Pac can help CLS beat GAS more consistently even without the high gear.
