Would you consider painting the baseboards in the bathroom white for a fresher look?

The only other thing I would do in your bathroom is remove the basket of magazines. It is a proven fact that toilets spray quite a distance when flushed. So that dirty toilet water spray is probably landing on those magazines being they are so close. Great job on the bathroom....it looks great!

Hey just wanted to add that there is a solution for the dirty water spraying - close the lid before flushing! I learned that this year and never flushed with open lid again, there are videos on yt showing that the water sprays up to 2 meters

That has to be a huge motivation to have this bathroom being used for its proper use after so many years. Any time you feel overwhelmed just remember that bathroom project was completed and you can do anything you set your mind to.

You just decluttered and regained functionality of an entire room in your house - that is huge! Your score in that room is 100%! I’m so, so happy for you! I’m so glad that you kept it a bathroom. There’s adequate storage in the basement plus storage in the attic; losing the bathroom would have been a loss to be sure. You and your husband did a great job in there - super work, both of you! Great job! You can use the old grocery bags to line your bathroom trash can. Fold up a few in the bottom of the can before putting in the one to use. Then when you empty the trash, the next bag is ready to go.

Thank You for sharing our reality. I am healing and letting things go. A sharing table is wonderful. I could never donate baby things but I could pass them to new moms. Some days I find it so much easier to let go things but do not know what causes my brain to switch to "ok to release". I will try the pick easiest first trick.
