It's just engine compression that passes past the piston rings and trys to pressurize the crank case, its called blow-by.. they dont have pcv valves so they use this type of blow off. its called road draft pcv.

@dagomachining112 жыл бұрын
on high compression engines like these blown alcohols, those 8 pistons are generating a lot of crankcase pressure via blow-by ( pressure passing the piston rings into the crankcase after ignition). you have to bleed it off or the pressure will build and either it will try to go back the way it came in, or blow oil out of you valve covers. to relieve the pressure, either a hole was placed in the crankcase itself or two tubes coming down from the valve covers merge to one and dump underneath.

The vents you see is just crank case ventilation. All cars have them but normally use a PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) system that recycles it back through the engine for emissions. Can someone explain to me why it is so easy for the tractor to pull at first but seems to become more encumbered the further it goes? Does the trailer dig more into the ground the further it travels?
@whitez359 жыл бұрын
If you look at the sled in the video, the weight starts at the rear and moves forward as he pulls making the sled harder to drag.
@kctyphoon9 жыл бұрын
the weight thats on the trailer slides - so the further they pull, the closer the weight gets to the back of the tractor. the closer the weight is, the harder it is to pull.
@slowpoke96Z285 жыл бұрын
It doesn't "dig" perse, but drag. The friction goes up as the weight presses the sled into the ground harder as it moves forward, making it harder to drag along.
