Greetings! Following the initial video where you learned about eligibility for applying for an AHPRA license, I'm back with another video detailing the first step: self-check for AHPRA and determining your STREAM! This stream will determine whether you can obtain your license directly or if you need to pursue NCLEX, OSCE, or a bridging program.

Hello, yes you can have subclass 482(work visa) on the basis of your nursing profession, sponsored by an employer who is hiring you (only if they offer). However, its just competitive now to acquire a sponsored RN visa so keep on applying on seek.com.au and any possible job vacancies for nurses.

For good standing from PNC what documents do we need because 1 line states that email received

For Ahpra/Anmac's good standing certificate, you will have to take screenshot of the Ahpra/Anmac's webpage where its written that Good Standing certificate has to be sent and get it pronted. Along with this the challan that you can find on PNC webpage, Good Standing form can be found on PNC page, copy of your degree and transcript and copy of your license.

Hello dear, I have query regarding tests like, which one test ought to be given first English test or NCLEX. One thing is more, is it mandatory to go to Australia for NCLEX and osce or any other country to can we give.

For any western country, you will have to give english test first and then if you score as required then you can attempt Nclex. However, for Australia, you still need to have english scores as required first but for Nclex and Osce its not mandatory for everyone. This will depend on which stream you have got from Ahpra Assessment.

As I mentioned in the video that not all universities of Pakistan fulfiills Ahpra criteria.. so if you didnt get the stream..Ahpra will charge this fees to assess your degrees and will decide if you will fall under stream A or B.

@@Kiransayani I have my BSCN from Aga Khan University but it still didn't show me the stream. Is it worth-it to pay $410 for the assesment?

@@shehnazhameed6347 That is unusual. Please check again, it must show the stream and in anyways for Aga Khan it shows stream A so far I know. And 410 is your registration fees you have to pay for opening an account on Ahpra, so if you are ready with the english scores and all documents, you can pay and start you license process.. it will anyway give you stream A hopefully.

If we have done bscn (post RN) then do we need to uplaod specialization and diploma also in others option ? Or only need to mention bachelor of science (post rn)?

Preferably you just need to upload RN diploma and post rn bscn degree as your bachelors evidence and that should be enough to acquire Ahpra.

@@Kiransayani mistakenly I have mentioned Diploma , specialization and post RN Bscn last year in 2023 I did self check ? Now I did payment IQMN in 2024 but I didn’t submit my portfolio now Now I have sent a query to aphra it almost 2 weeks no response regarding correction in qualification error Please guide what should I do now Should I submit the portfolio with require documents Or wait for aphra reply for correction And what is the due time in which aphra resolve the correction any idea please do let me know . @@newtonsaleem-youtubeshorts Since you have done the payment its better you submit your portfolio too so that your assessment starts. Usually Ahpra is not prompt with queries and emails. it can take upto few weeks to months for them to respond sometimes. I believe, after making your profile you have just got 90 days to submit the portfolio else the profile will be withdrawn and there will be a waste of money. So better submit your documents and start the process.

what are the universities fall under stream A from pakistan. like AKU ,Is univeraity of health and sciences lahore fall also under stream A????

With my limited knowledge so far I have seen graduates from AKUH and sometimes DUHS having stream A. I dont know about other universities sorry.

If you want to pursue PhD in nursing then you will require an Australian nursing license. Else no for any other PhD

Once you obtain license, you can apply for job and once an employer is happy to offer you a job.. you will get the work permit visa that will include your spouse and kid's visa too.

If you fall under stream A, it directly tells you after your self check. If not, then your documents will be assessed first and then you will receive your stream in a couple of weeks.

No..because for acquiring Ahpra, you need 450 hrs of bedside clinicals and once you complete it you can apply for Ahpra.

As such resignation letter isnt required but you ll have to have work experience letter if you want to show that 5 years of your work experience. Whenever you will apply for a RN job here they will ask tou for the work experience letter from your previous employers.

Then you will have to enroll in Nclex/OSCE, I have little knowledge about this but will try to inquire from my fellow nurses and will make one video regarding it.
