Why do you use coq de Leon feathers . I have 6 different Indian capes can I use them. I coq de Leon capes are so expensive, I'm thinking of an alternative . I'm going to try my Indian cock cape . The feathers look so much like our bait fish here in Alberta. Canada. Thanx for the pattern Oliver. HAPPY TYING.🤪 Oh by the way I love Ahrex hooks.THERE GRRRRATE!!🐯

Absolutely no problem, standard hackles will work out fine. I guess Oliver just wanted the speckled look to illustrate the scales of a baitfish, but the capes you allready have will work out in the same way 🙂

We actually put the tying-reciepe in the description of the film - the text perhaps says "show more" and there you will find it 🙂

I love the fly and am going to try to figure if out. But, the video could be a lot more informative instead of music. How to tie a fly is only half the battle. Anyhow, thank for the fly though.

You folks should know better than to take the lazy way out in a tying video, by putting it to music. Highly disappointed in such a great company. I gave you a thumbs down for underachieving, I'm sorry. I love Ahrex Hooks but certainly not this format.

What is done in the video is obvious to anyone who has ever tied a fly. This is actually a very simple pattern, so there is no need for a voice description. There is nothing wrong with the format of this video.
