AHRMA Classic Motofest of Monterey 2021 / VMX Short Film

What a fun weekend up at Laguna Seca Raceway for the AHRMA Classic Motofest. Little did we know, our good buddy Marc would document the Vintage motocross racing from 2021 to surprise us at the AHRMA Motofest 2022!
Vintage motocross is all about heritage and having a good time. Marc was able to capture it all and we are so stoked to see it!

Funny how the resolution of your slo-mo footage mixed with the film scratches overlay effect really looks like old footage that's been digitized. Great video!

Vintage racing at first seems like just racing on old bikes. But guess what ? Bikes don't get old !! They ride the same now essentially as when they were new. You know what gets old ?? That's right, YOU do !! But amazingly, you are not as light as you were then, you have no stamina like you had then, you have comparitively little riding skill anymore, and there is NOTHING you can ever do to make it like it was back in the day. When you get old, your whole life as a youth is reduced to just thoughts in your head. Still .... I love looking back. It makes me smile.
