I thought it was interesting how fast “nurse Rita” was able to manipulate Jingles, almost exactly like Margaret did with the Night Stalker. Also Jingles said, “I feel like I’m being seen for the first time in 14 years”, not just for the first time, but in 14 years! That makes me think that Margaret was the first one to make him feel seen, and they will end up showing a moment between them and then she ultimately ends up screwing him over.

In the previous episode, Montana "learns" about what happened to Brooke the previous year. It makes sense now when Montana was fishing to see if Brooke had slept with the best man or not. Montana totally knows who Brooke is.

One little thing about the “mistakes” (specifically the flaming poop scene) - I noticed as far back as Asylum that AHS uses different takes in the promos for the next episodes instead of the scenes that actually air the following week. I also loved how Mr. Jingles let the fat prankster live after he said Mr. Jingles was a badass. Looks like flattery will get you everywhere!

I think the message is gonna be similar but different. Given Chamber's speech about being "conditioned" to be a killer, I dont think EVERYONE at Redwood is killer. I think it's going to show that ANYONE could BECOME a killer, under certain circumstances, though. I think we've gotten Xavier's reason for running away from LA. So I dont expect him to turn out a killer in the past, but perhaps an accidental killer in the future. Similar to how Trevor accidentally kills that teen dressed as Jingles. Some killings are an accident (Trevor, Ray's past), and some are on purpose like as in premeditated (Ray leaving Chet, everyone Richard kills, Jingles being manipulated by Chambers to kill).

Xavier seems to be the only kind hearted one there. He doesn’t even consider escaping because there are still people in the camp. He even jumps into the pit, no questions asked and helps get Chet out. The only one of the kids to remember the cook and seems to be the only one to go look after her and then try to escape. He seemed shady at first but it seems these life or death situations bring out their real personalities like Ray being a piece of shit all of a sudden.

Maybe one thing Brooke hasn't revealed about herself is that she had been an elementary/middle school bully, and Montana had been one of her favorite targets because of her weight. Montana had wanted to be with the Kavanaugh kid at that time, but Brooke moved in on him. She thinks Montana is a new person in her life, but because of the weight loss, Brooke doesn't recognize her, and this is Montana's effort to get revenge on her.

In the first episode when “Rita” was retelling the Jingles massacre to the counselor group, she said that one too many people died in the massacre. Margaret then stated “it was (whatever number it was), if you’re gonna tell it, tell it right.” I think “Rita” added the extra kill because she knew Jingles was going to kill Margaret later on in the series.

So last week I started to think that Margret could have a connection to Hotels James Patrick March. especially since its looking more and more likely that she played a role in the camp massacre. But now I'm changing that theory to revolve around Rita/Donna. One of the serial killers Donna said she spoke too was John Wayne Gacy, who was one of March's disciples. Maybe Gacy told her about the Cortez and she paid March a visit, which could explain her ulterior motives. We all know Richard Ramirez was also a March disciple, and yet looking back at his reaction to the undead hitchhiker, he probably hasn't paid a visit to the Hotel Cortez yet so maybe Donna is the one that points him in that direction. The whole "Method Acting" theory does look pretty legit, but I still continue to theorize in case it fizzles out.... :) :)

I like what they are doing to the characters here. I see their purpose because of many old horror movies there were always these stereotypical character types (the good girl, the jock, the rebel, etc.), but there was no depth to them; what you saw is what you got and one scene with a few lines is who they were. But this AHS season shows that everyone is guilty of sin, even the good girl with potential to be the final girl. Also my theory on those little "mistakes" and shots we have seen in trailers are like everyone else's, definitely alternate timelines. Like in this timeline, the fire thrown in the cabin was a prank but in the alternate one, it's actually Jingles setting the cabin on fire. They will probably even show this is not the first nor last timeline repeated and no one remembers. The hitchhiker is the only one because he probably accidentally did something during the cycle that sets in motion as to why he always says "I am not supposed to die here." Or he probably was supposed to stop the killings from before as a last hope resort somehow and keeps stumbling into 1984.

I said the same thing on Twitter and few channels covering AHS. Montana is related (in some way) to Brooke's would be husband. Blaming her for his death. So she got Night stalker to kill her. When he failed the first time, she invited her to the camp as another to attempt to kill her. I can see him killing Montana after she gets annoyed for not killing Brooke all these times.

I feel like the trailer discrepancies are common these days. Little things change here and there, like the way Chet says, "I'm dying," is different from the trailer where it's a whimper as opposed to the show where he kind of yells it. Another time I really noticed was with Roanoke where they find the sweater in a tree, Angela Bassett went from screaming face in the trailer to a worried look in the show. I feel like it's almost intentional at this point, like misdirects.

Doctors and professionals decide to lock Richter away for good claiming he is irredeemable. Although we find out he clearly has some sort of moral compass because he spares some people (the asthma guy) out of mercy/compassion/empathy?? who knows. Also, he didn't really want to go along with Rita (Donna) in the first place, she talked him into it. It's like when these doctors can't explain someone's actions with empirical evidence, they just decide to take the easy way out and pin it on an innocent person - convincing them they are guilty and they must have forgotten about it because they are evil.

It sounds like your theory about this actually being a movie the characters are filming is what’s going on! Especially since Emma Robins (?) was a movie star in Coven! So this could be one of the movies she acted in! I guess we won’t know for sure until the series gets closer to the end!!

Theory: Maybe this season is going to be like Clue the movie. Offering different versions of who the actually killer is and different scenarios of who dies and who lives in different locations. It was Brooke in the Infirmary with the a DeLorean!

I think the twist has to do with the shows title...1984. It refers not only to the year in which the show takes place, but the George Orwell book as well. Maybe it's some kind of computer generated, Hunger Games- like dystopian game show.
