If the transfer button is not appearing it could be due to any of the reasons discussed in the video. Most common is where you need to wait 60 days (depending on your payment method) before you are able to transfer the crypto out. If your friends wallet is not an eToro wallet and an external wallet which supports the crypto you want to transfer then yes you can transfer.

Can you pls explain this from their faq page? : The position you wish to transfer must have either an invested amount or a current value that does not exceed the total amount you have deposited. It will have the same value as the market. To put it very simple, if you put money in the bank (in your case etoro) it will have the same value if you take it out in cash and put it in your wallet (in your case external wallet).

If your region is not covered by eToro money wallet then there is no way to move your crypto out of eToro. You can either keep your investments with eToro or you can sell everything and utilize the funds to buy crypto elsewhere.

This error comes mostly due to the crypto being bought with a credit card or Paypal and needs to be held for a minimum of 90 days with etoro before it can be transfered out

Good Question, you can always keep your crypto on the eToro trading platform. Some people feel more secure with their crypto being in their own wallets (software or even hardware wallets). Some want to convert from one crypto to another (which you cannot do on eToro directly). Some want to stake their crypto (eToro only allows to stake ADA and TRON). I would say for 90% of the eToro users transferring does not matter.

If eToro the platform itself gets hacked then there is a chance of you losing your crypto otherwise I think your crypto is pretty safe

I know that this is a few months old but frankly for the grief u get I would suggest getting your verification done first at whatever proper platform u are moving to then simply close your position in crypto. Cash out your fiat and then buy back on your new platform. Yes it might cost u 1-2% but with the volatility in crypto y could lose more than that whilst you have no access to trade it. Their TNC now says allow up to 5 days. But I've seen bitcoin lose 20% in that time

Thats true, but you need to consider 1 thing and that is taxes. If you sell at a profit, you may have to pay upto 49% in taxes if you live in a country like Germany and sell crypto within 1 year of buying it.

According to eToro: "Funds are withdrawn using the same method, and sent to the same account, as previously used for your deposit." So if you deposited using paypal, the withdrawal will be sent to the same paypal account.

Hello Jerome, Funds are withdrawn using the same method, and sent to the same account, as previously used for your deposit. This is a security measure as a hacked account doesnt get their funds withdrawn to unknown accounts. You will be asked to provide an alternative payment method if eToro are unable to return your funds via your original deposit method.

Well i do not use coinbase so I cannot tell you by experience, but according to their website (help.coinbase.com/en/pro/trading-and-funding/orders/overview-of-order-types-and-settings-stop-limit-market) they also have these features.

if it hasn't its not a trading platform. but you don't want to trade on coinbase, its expensive. look into Binance, and if you want advanced features like trailing take profit, trailing stop loss and bots look into using 3commas with Binance.

I had 4 XRP trades open at different rates on the Etoro app. I transferred 1 trade to the Etoro wallet and once it was received, I sent it to Binance. I realized that I have 25XRP stuck in the Etoro wallet that do not show up in my available balance when trying to transfer to another platform. My question is that once I transfer my other 3 open trades from Etoro to the Etoro wallet and I try to send them to Binance, will I be charged 25XRP per transfer (meaning another 75XRP) or is it only that 25XRP that is already stuck and the rest will be fine?. If it is 25XRP per transfer meaning that 100XRP will be stuck in my Etoro wallet, what do you recommend me to do with it? Thank you

I think the 25XRP you are talking about is the free xrp eToro gave to the first 25k customers who opened an XRP wallet with eToro, these 25 cannot be transfered anywhere ( just forget about this amount). The 3 remaining trades should not cost you more than 0.0045 XRP to transfer out to Binance. Make sure the amount being transferred is more than 25 XRP.

Hello Kevin, depends. Its not just a Wallet issue its what eToro supports to be transferred. As mentioned in the video you need to have a certain amount of supported crypto held for a specific amount of time (based on the payment method) before it can be transferred out of eToro into an external wallet

Binance supports BTC, ETH and other Etoro wallet supported cryptos. Maybe you can transfer a small amount first if you are not sure.

To my knowledge it is not possible at the moment to convert crypto. eToro handles crypto the same way it handles stocks you can either buy or sell. Maybe they add more features in the future i dont know. One thing to keep in mind is the taxes on crypto , i have a separate video on that if you want to know more

I been monitoring the screen of etoro since I registered with them unfortunately for the list of the cryptocurrencies they deal with I noticed that when you want to buy crypto for ex. xrp the price at the screen something and at the execution page something else to sell or to buy completely different. They charge too much high price when sell than what is in the other screen and when you compar the prices to the other crypto applications you see big difference and when you want to sell it gives you lower price reachs up 20 to 40 dollars less than, what the hell is going on. This is not a good broker company to deal with. Same thing when want to buy gives you higher price. Please show me how to get out of ther. I need your recommendation to which cryptocurrency to transferring my money. I am thinking to move to coin market cap, what you think. Thank you

Cracked it!!!!! The exodus wallet wouldn't work. So, I downloaded an Ownbit wallet and subtracted 13.527223 from my total amount of 757.527223; sending 744XLM. In other words I reduced the amount i was sending by 13 XLM and anything after the decimal point. It worked straight away! I had transfer costs to pay twice since I actually needed the XLM to go to another exchange, but its worth it to get away from the headache that is eToro. Thanks again Mu. x

I'm a complete beginner to all of this and despite satisfying all the eToro qualifications regarding the Bitcoin I have (about $200) on the eToro TP, I'm still unable to transfer them to my wallet. I funded them with a bank transfer, and the option to "Transfer to Wallet" is there - but when I click on it, I just the get the "The amount you can withdraw may vary... etc etc" warning, with no actual option to transfer. According to eToro the minimum transaction amount for XLM is 45.1 so theoretically it should be transferable

I use the receiving XLM address, qr code, and XLM memo code, have tried multiple different amounts close to the full amount (minus 3.5XLM at most), and it still gives me an error processing code after it attempts the transfer. Etorro Money to Coinbase Wallet not so good IMO.

This is most likely because of the method used to deposit the funds with which you bought the BTC i.e. either credit card or paypal for which you need the crypto to be held with eToro for 90 days before it can be transfered out

This error is due to the fact that for some payment methods (for example credit card ) the crypto needs to be kept for 60 days before it can be transferred out of eToro. Regarding the Club level , "eToro Club membership is determined according to the customer’s equity as of midnight GMT each day. Provided that you meet the equity requirement, you will be automatically accepted and you will see the club tier change the following day. " "Silver: $5,000 Gold: $10,000 Platinum: $25,000 Platinum+: $50,000 Diamond: $250,000"

Sorry to hear about that. Unfortunately you cannot do anything if the amount is smaller than what is allowed. You can either sell it and buy elsewhere (be careful of the taxes) or let it ride with eToro.

Hi, its not mandatory to have the etoro wallet. You need the wallet to transfer the crypto out of etoro. The holding period again is only for transferring the crypto out of etoro. There shouldnt be a problem transfering your fiat back, there is a withdrawal fee though.

Until you transfer to the eToro wallet you don’t actually own any Bitcoin. You own the trading value of dollars to bitcoin (USD/BTC).

If you transfer crypto out into the Money wallet you cannot transfer it back to eToro. You will then need to transfer it to another exchange and sell your crypto there for fiat currency. Then you can transfer the fiat back in to your bank account. May I ask why you want to transfer out of eToro?

Well if you are able to transfer your cardano to the Money wallet (due to it being delisted from eToro in the US), you can simply move it to another exchange (ahsanfinance.com/coinbase) from the money wallet . You can also sell your crypto after transferring if you want Fiat currency back
