Sabine wasn't holding her own in any of the fights against Shin. Shin was just toying with her, and following Baylan's orders not to kill her. If she wanted to kill Sabine, she could've just force choked her as easily as snapping her fingers. I know there wouldn't be much of a story if the following happened, but Ahsoka really should've contacted Luke immediately, once she learned of the 2 dark jedi, to not take any chances, especially with them freeing Morgan and being so ahead of them in bringing Thrawn back. But still, even though she's better at lightsaber combat than Luke, the two of them together could've defeated Baylan, and then easily dealt with Shin before or after. And then after that, they could've just ridden the space whales and found Ezra that way.

There are plenty of blonds in star wars who aren't bad guys. Also, it's just a hair colour. And lastly, there might be a reason she has that blond. almost white hair, and it's related to the Mortis gods...

Ahsoka should’ve called Luke immediately when 3 new “Sith” suddenly show up. Also, makes sense surviving a lightsaber stab through the body, as long as it doesn’t hit any vital organs, cause the lightsaber is so hot, so it hardens all the blood around it, so no blood loss occurs. And even if hitting a vital organ, this is star wars, with medical technology and cloning technology lightyears ahead of our own, so you could literally transplant almost any lab made organ easily and quickly.

To all the doubters who were afraid Ahsoka wasn’t going to live up to the hype, this and the next episode prove that Dave Filoni is the true apprentice and successor of George Lucas. His eye for the details of the same classic samurai films that inspired Lucas is all over this show. What’s really surprising is that these episodes are made in a way that even people who didn’t see Rebels can get into this show without being lost, while hardcore fans like myself who watched it from day one are well and truly rewarded for watching it from beginning to end. Plus Kevin Kiner is giving us one of the most beautiful scores in Star Wars history! The actresses for Ahsoka, Sabine and Hera are absolutely amazing, I especially love that Clancy Brown got to play the same character he voiced in Rebels. But Ray Stevenson, as always, was perfect. According to Dave Filoni the lightsabres are orange for two reasons. First is the original posters for Star Wars in 1977 Vader's lightsabre was orange rather than red. The 2nd reason is to suggest, as you said, that they are not Sith. He did hint that there will be more to it but didn't add anymore.

Attention spoiler impressions so don't read if you haven't seen Ahsoka ;) I was completely blown away, Filoni is a master (why didn't they let this guy make sequels?) Red opening credits in the style of classic Star Wars. The visuals, especially the sounds, and working with them are brilliant. Just such little things, Sabine opens the map and the screechy clicking sound like from Indiana Jones transitions smoothly into the classic Star Wars watch cut between scenes. Or the opening titles that are vertical, menacing minimalistic music and a cruiser from the new republic and sound like cruisers from the prequels (those who haven't seen episodes 1-3 in the cinema can't know what sounds I mean) It's all fresh so far, but I think this series will be my Top since the very pleasant couple Rogue One and Solo from Disney. Of course, there is the Mandalorian, but even there I don't feel the narrative like after two episodes of the series, which I was slightly afraid that it would not be just fan service and Rebels in a playable form without added value. But the added value is there. And I am pleasantly surprised and pleased. This will still be a cut The whole thing has the touch of the Original Trilogy and the prequels, but it also gives me a terrible sense of the style of the animated Visions - just Kurosawa and that's mega cool. Baylan, padawan including Jedi padawan copik and everything around them plus Nightsister and a route to another galaxy (the old race will be Yuzhan Vong let's bet) Mythology - a planet where apparently whales are born, the whole atmosphere is literally like in fairy tales or vikings Some great fan service - for example, the scene with the probe and the padawan completely breathed Maul and Episode 1. Clancy Brown basically played himself, since this character also appeared in Rebels in his form. Much, much more could be written, but my feelings are damn fine (since Mandalorian season 2 and Andora, I haven't been so happy with SW that I smiled during the entire viewing time) It's such a great serial, now wait a hell of a week... Ps scene with Sabine on a motorcycle and Japanese punk rock from another galaxy absolutely thrilled me. I finally found out that it is a song composed by Ludwig Goranson and sung by a punk rocker in Mandalorian speech especially for the series and it will be released as part of the soundtrack soon. Disadvantages? None yet. These are the SW we like and I'm pleasantly surprised :) If you can think of anything that was so wonderful there and what you didn't like, let's discuss. I've been a SW fan since 1993, so reading the Thrawn trilogy brings back memories and I'm curious about the next parts. And unfortunately I wasn't with Boba Fett or Obi Wan. The feeling is back and it's great :)

Great reaction, Kat and Sonny. I thoroughly enjoyed this 2-part Premiere. Peak Star Wars, so far. Jedi Knight Obi-Dave Filoni is on his way to becoming a Master. Don't worry, you 2: Ahsoka's SPARK will return, once she gets through this particular arc in her life. Luke and Anakin will have a lot to do with that. Remember, this series takes place during the near-end of Season 2 of The Mandalorian. In, The Book Of Boba Fett, it's around 1 year later, AFTER the events of this new series. Her personality in TBOBF is very much akin to classic Ahsoka. Regarding blond-haired SW characters: Don't worry, Kat...Mandalore's The Duchess Satine Kryze (Bo-Katan's older Sister) is a natural blonde, dignified, peace-loving, a freedom fighter, and Ladylove of Obi-Wan Kenobi; and Guri (the human replicant assassin/pleasure being), first introduced in the novel, comic series, and video game, Shadows Of The Empire, is very cool, has dimension, and is a kind of "shades of gray" character, who ultimately performs heroic acts.

Hello to both of you ! As someone who didn't grew up with Star Wars and only watched the last trilogy, Rogue one and Solo (please don't hate me xD) I still gave the Ahsoka series a shot, since the character appealed to me. So far the serie seems a bit too clean for me ? Like there was a reason I never watched a movie entirely, it's because the glimpses I had of these as a child were pretty violent (the death of Luke's parents or Anakin ascend to madness for example). And I'm quite sure I would still find it violent now. But the deaths here were just so clean, it leaves no impact and no feeling of true danger. But Disney I guess. I wasn't convinced either by the two "apprentices" fight choreography, but I suppose it's just because I'm not used enough to that universe and its portrayal. But the cat creature is ok so that's great, it made my day x) I still think it serves a good introduction to the Star Wars extanded universe for those like me who never dive into it before ! I wasn't too lost with the characters thanks to the exposition. I'm just temporally confused xD Other than that, it was nice to see your reactions, it gave me an idea of what fans of the universe and characters might feel watching it. Confirmed me that the distance I felt was because I am still green, and not because the serie is not of quality so far. Anyway, I'll keep watching your reactions videos, of Ahsoka, Demon Slayer and so on :) Love from France ! ❤

For copyright reasons we do have to make comments while watching (or, it makes it way easier to avoid claims and blocks when we do at least), but we try to pick our moments and hope we don't accidentally end up saying something while important stuff is happening on screen. It can be a bit of a tightrope walk sometimes.

@@KatSonny I understand, and wasn't directing it at you folks specifically, just speaking generally. They key isn't just making comments, it's them making "inappropriate" comments followed by *criticizing* the show for something they missed as a result.

so the meaning of getting stabbed by lightsabers is completely meaningless now

Depends on where you get stabbed, who you are (dark side users can survive quite a lot if they have the willpower), and how long it takes to get help.

@@KatSonny anywhere in near the stomach or intestines should automatically kill you. Lightsabers are made out of plasma which is about 18,000°C to 25,000°C. That will instantly melt your organs. You will die much faster than a normal stab wound from a sword. Plus niether of them are siths. Especially sabine who is neither jedi nor sith. She should have died. They should have cut off her hand, arm or something like that instead

Sabine got help straight away, compared to someone like Qui-Gon. If we go with what you're saying, then even he should've died instantly, which he didn't. Maul for example should have never come back in Clone Wars, and so on, and so on. Also, if lightsabers are supposed to be *that hot*, then no one would be able to be wield them. But since Star Wars is pure fantasy, they can do whatever in-universe explanation they want, as long as it serves the story they're telling. We don't all have to like it, which is totally fine. I honestly would've preferred Reva to have died in Obi-Wan, but I get why she didn't, because that wasn't the story they wanted to tell with her character.

Kat seems to be very angry often. Parent life does take away from hobbies trust me I know
