@MM-vs2et Жыл бұрын
@@mish375 My theory is C'Baoth is divided up into 2 characters for this continuity. Morgan and Baylan is supposed to embody C'Baoth. Morgan is the more physical prowess of C'Baoth(her being a Nightsister defintely checks that box), while Baylan embodies C'Baoth's psyche, like how he has an apprentice, and he feels that its wasteful to kill Jedi as there's so few left. For me Ahsoka did a great job at introducing new fans to the rebels aspect with Sabine, Herra, Chopper and explaining what happened with Ezra. But like most of us here, we all knew what was happening going in, and it was still refreshing to see how good the adaptations from animation to live action were. Rosario has fully come into her own as a mature, still stubborn, powerful version of Ahsoka that is the clear lead in this. Loved the tie in with the sisters of Dathomir and Morgan Elsbeth, but the biggest impression for me was Ray Stevenson as Baylan, a former Jedi who has a sense of proudness in him. Let’s put this into perspective here: The veterans of the 501st served alongside Ahsoka and Anakin for years. She was 14 when she first became Anakin’s Padawan and was 17 by this moment. Those clone troopers that she had to bury were her actual family. They were saddened upon hearing about her ousting of the Jedi Order and were happy that she was returning. They willingly painted their helmets in honor of her. They were family, and in the end, her entire family died. Her master became something sinister, the clone troopers that were part of the 332nd Company were all killed in the crash (besides Rex), and she was still a child that entire time. Ik it’s a fictional universe and an animated show, but the directors truly made Ahsoka a fan-favorite character and ended this show in a fantastic and depressing way We knew the Clone Wars could never have a happy ending, but this takes the cake. The lightsaber, the helmets, the wrecked Venator, all symbols of the heroes who fought so hard for something that amounted to naught. The end of the Republic and the rise of the Empire is so........... so quiet. I like the touch they added of having Vader hold onto Ahsoka's lightsaber. No matter how hard he tries to pretend that Anakin Skywalker is dead, there's always that little part of him that can't let go. This particular scene is enough to put me in tears, They are just CGI and not real; but if you grew up watching this show from when it all began you grow to love the clone troopers. This show demonstrates that they were not just blind loyal troopers but rather human beings who shared emotions like all of us, and in my opinion, that's what makes clone troopers my favorite sci-fi fighting force. What an amazing show. We all knew Order 66 was coming but suspense and tension were still high Vader had no intention of visiting that wreck. Picking up the lightsaber, igniting it, to then look up and gaze. But Anakin, oh Anakin did. The clones didn’t die for the republic. They died with it Again the proof that sometimes no dialogue is the best dialogue. The silence of Vader's thoughts, the hidden face, and no expression, intentional or not, really leaves a great impression on the viewer that they can imagine how Vader must feel inside, however, they wish to imagine it - whether he is in hidden turmoil if he is really absorbed by the dark side and hatred, or if he has just become emotionless. This was Ahsoka saying a final goodbye to her comrades, Anakin saying goodbye to Ahsoka, Vader saying goodbye to Anakin and us saying goodbye to the Clone Wars. This is a true ending for all. A farewell to the fallen. It's been 2 years since the release of the last episode of the Clone Wars season 7, yet the ending still haunts me to this day. Thank you The Clone Wars for the memory. Seeing Vader hold Ashoka’s blue saber is so chilling. It feels like a combination of knowing he failed her, just like he failed himself. And that blue represents a past part of him that won’t be seen for years to come. In all honesty, The Clone Wars' final season makes Revenge of the Sith even more emotional to sit through. I used to think Vader at the end of Rogue One was the best scene in Star Wars, but this ending really won't leave my mind after I saw it. How we knew so much of the story built up to this over years of watching the prequel stories unfold, and how far the Master and the Padawan had come along in their journeys and character development - this was literally the perfect ending to the best execution of Star Wars content I've ever seen. Jesse's helmet here illustrates the end of an era. His helmet carries the republic symbol, and now it marks a grave. This is where the republic ends. The three final scenes of the Clone Wars that will stick with me: Ahsoka walks away from the Jedi Temple as Anakin watches on. Yoda leaves the darkness of Korriban behind and returns home to ponder on the future. A clone helmet, stuck in the snow, with the visor showing the reflected visage of Darth Vader wandering away into the fog. I feel that the ending arc of Season Five all the way to the finale of Season Seven shows the true end of the Clone Wars. Season Five portrays the beginning of the Jedi's fall as true evil begins to emerge. Season Six shows the heroes seeing the shadow of the phantom menace loom over them. And in Season Seven, the Dark Times finally arrive. Everyone’s gone… Padme, mace windu, dooku, grievous, plo koon, all of them. All of those beloved characters fleshed out in the series are gone in a matter of days…The heaviness Ahsoka has to carry within herself must be overwhelming, she lost her home with the Jedi, she lost the clones who would've given their lives for her, and with the flick of a switch not rest until she was dead, and did even though it's not her fault, feels she is the cause of all their deaths, she lost her master and brother and only later discover by just how much. If it wasn't for her training I'm pretty sure she would've been 200% emotionally crippled by the end of all this I love this scene because you can tell everything that’s going on without a single line being spoken. You would think that Rex would be the last one standing over the clones' bodies but it’s Ashoka. She feels responsible for their lives being taken just like the first time she led a space battle and got half of her squad killed. The only difference is this time it isn’t her fault but she feels that it is, enough to dig through the wreckage to give them proper burials. The last scene represented the series so well, a Clonetrooper helmet with Ahsoka decoration and Anakin, now Vader in the visor reflection. The main 3 components of this series are all together for a final shot.

When they mentioned the other galaxy Thrawn is in, I thought that would be a perfect segue into the War in the Unknown Regions plotline. I think and hope Ezra is in the Chiss Ascendancy. Edit: Ysalamiri have been updated to just have force dampening effects now. I could see Thrawn collecting the space geckos in response to Ezra's stunt at the end ot Rebels.

Kind of fan service, possibly - I liked how when Ahsoka is getting the map in the beginning, she needs to solve a puzzle by lining things up just right... such as when you play "Jedi: Fallen Order" or such.

Too be fair, they didn’t seem like they were looking to kill her, which is really interesting. They seemed to ONLY want the map and only tried restraining her without actually harming her at all

I think that was just because the fight was in close quarters. It makes much more sense for a stronger, metal opponent to grapple than have a blaster fight at 5 feet away.

Excellent reaction, SW: Wave Squadron Brothers. No one reacts to Star Wars quite like Eric, Rick, Calvin, and Aaron do. I thoroughly enjoyed ALL OF IT. We have a new (and long-standing) hope in Master Obi-Dave Filoni. And, this is just the beginning... May The Force Be With You.

I know there's probably a lore reason as to why their (the two dark jedi) sabers are not fully red and are more orange. But I like to think that they bled their crystals and because they are not total darkside, they are slightly orange. Vader was just so angry that he made it red out of sheer will. 😅

So my dad and I have made it tradition to watch all the shows/movies coming out now since mandalorian. His opinion is that this was the first one to truly feel like the Star Wars that he grew up on. He liked mando for the spaghetti western aspect, but this one took him back, it was a great moment for his childhood of 4/5/6 and my 1/2/3/clone wars. We’re all in for this show!

Thoroughly enjoyed Huyang doing lightsaber CSI The dialogue here is a welcome change from Mando. I think Favreau leaned way too hard into “campy” so people started feeling stiff or cartooney. Here, the characters talk like people.

Excellent start to the series, audiovisually great in cgi, designs and above all in Kevin Kiner's soundtrack, with interesting new characters and the old ones maintain their charm and the pace is calm but entertaining, I think the only Star Wars series that has better start for me is Mandalorian in its season 1, which also directed Filoni, damn mad genius with a hat

I loved the slower pace here. Its, for me, the difference in protagonists. Ahsoka is measured, calm and a mix of jedi trained and ronin. I think the pace reflects the character. I loved some of the nods to the EU - the E-Wing fighter was the big one here. It doesnt do fan service for the sake of it. Its just there. In the EU, Corran Horn was a XWing pilot who was force sensitive. In his story, he doesnt have traditional force powers, but he is force sensitive none the less. I love this for sabine. No telekinesis, or obvious force powers, but theres enough there that can be trained. Also EU wise, the galaxy was locked from leaving or things getting in until the Yuuzhan Vong arrive. Its very interesting to see how the expansion into a wider universe will change the star wars universe.

with sabine being a "jedi" she might just be being trained in the combat of them like grievous was. "You fool! I've been trained in your jedi arts! By Count Dooku!!" could be something along those lines with sabine

I believe you can see Sabine showing not the typical telekinesis used of the force but she shows instances of incredible intuition about things that she really shouldn't need able to know such as when she knew that kanan and rau were going to ask her to let her people with the darksaber. It's also particularly interesting because when she reluctant grabs the darksaber from kanan the force theme quietly begins playing and as her decision becomes more firm the volume of the force theme gets louder until she finally accepts it and it swells and then transitions into her theme.
