Anakin had to teach her to stop dwelling on her past and guilt. You can hear it when she says she walked away from her master and i believe its what stopped her from training Sabine. She probably feels she couldve saved Anakin. And its been eating at her since Rebels. She almost gave into the darkside when she thought Sabine was dead. I mean it looked like she straight choked Shin before slaming her against that rock in the last episode. I believe this was Anakin teaching her to balance both sides. He knew she needed this lesson. And those flashes of Vader as he walks out the fog looked awesome I also like the fact that he almost doninates Ashoka. Im glad they really showed how strong Anakin is compared to her. My favorite part is that after Ahsoka finishes the training, Dark Anakin looks almost sad, as in part of him is saying "Man, I could have made the right choice too just like she and Luke did, but I didn't". I think the last lesson from Anakin revealed that Ashoka was stuck in the past and that she lived in fear of what Anakin had become in the past vs seeing how he actually ended returning to the light. That fear and pain in addition to war trauma from clone wars led her not want to "fight" and choose to either "live" which is the light/path of a jedi or "death" the path of the dark side, and Anakin last lesson is that you need to choose, face your reality, stop pretending you don't need to choose to live or die. And Ashoka at the end finally choses to "live" the light side, where she had every reason to strike Anakin/Darth Vader down in anger but did not, thus why there is "hope" for her What do you think? any thoughts?

This was a monumental moment in star wars and for me to analyze I would agree with the theory that anakin has taken the place of the mortis father and has become the embodiment of the balance of the force, he is now in control of the dark side and can use it at will but being able to control it by having the balance of the light as well. Pretty much a god of the living force and a cosmic being of the cosmic force
