@@legendaryjimbob7685 No, it’s true that he watched the animated shows but Hayden said himself that he played the role the same way he did the prequels. If he sounds like Matt Lanter, it was a mix of it being unintentional and how Hayden’s voice is a bit deeper now. If people thought he was similar to Matt, I think the shows that he was always the right guy to play Anakin but George didn’t utilize him well enough. You also have to remember that Hayden finally got to a play the more light sided version of Anakin in this show which we barely got and didn’t get enough of in the movies.

It's not dissimilar to the move he tried on Obi-Wan in their duel on Mustafar. The difference is that Obi-Wan just used the momentum to whirl out of the grab and force Anakin to defend himself rather than continue to grapple and potentially overpower him with his robotic hand. They really do go the distance in showing that this is the same Anakin we saw years ago in the prequels, but with all the wisdom that his failures taught him.

I think part of it is that his voice got deeper/richer over 18 years. I would keep in mind that I think George did an accurate job psychologically playing Anakin as someone with teenage love angst suddenly being forced into positions he did not want to be in. Love can really screw a man up. I think the problem with 2 and 3 was bad execution and structure along with all the CGI environments.

Be honest, they loved Han more than they loved Luke. Anakin having to leave his mom behind. Then having to lose her in his arms as a young powerful Jedi that was powerless to stop it. That can be maddening

I think Ahsoka looked way, too young in the siege of Mandalor. From a rough guess in the animated series, you would give a logical idea that maybe she would’ve been around 17 or 18. Although the first version of her in the early part of the clone wars was more or less right.

Well it's one thing to get 3 different actors for different stages of Ahsoka's life after all. Especially since there's fight choreography for Siege Ahsoka, you're looking at training 3 people to keep up with Hayden's chad lightsaber skills. They did pretty well with just Dawson and Greenblatt, though both still struggled to keep up with Hayden. Which is fine! He's the chosen one!

Anakin started to doubt the jedi council as palpatine seduced him that they are not confident enough for him to become a master it was insecurity that eats him deep inside and his premonition to padme adds fuel to the fire, he was lead to believed that the council will not help him save padme, remember he sought yoda for advise, he just told him learn to let go, which isn't really a bad advice but knowing his temperament and love he couldn't just let go. So he chose the sith over the jedi not knowing that he would completely succumbed to the darkside. That's the main reason why dooku didn't really 100% commit to the darker side as it could turn him into a complete monster and will lose the vision he had for the galaxy.
