I'm telling you man... Those Ahsoka episodes, they make me feel like a kid again. Like i'm in love with what Dave Filoni is doing right now. The music, the plot, characters development. Everything. I love it. And the Kiner(s) are killing it with the music. Huyang's training with Sabine with the background music and Ahsoka watching them was like watching Tales Of The Jedi again. When Anakin watched Ahsoka train with Tera Sinube, then with Rex and the 501st. Ahsoka saying " Let's go again " like Anakin when Ahsoka kept passing out during that training. Like... i'm in love with the callbacks. For me, Ahsoka as a character is at a state now where she's trying to be like Anakin, strong mentally even tho she may be conflicted inside, sometimes breaking rules etc etc... I think that's the vision that Dave Filoni is trying to show with this show. So for me, when I see Ahsoka now, I see her personality from her past, her struggles and Anakin's personality.

I feel the same way, and it definitely seems like a redemption arc for Ahsoka. When she turned her back on the Jedi, she was also turning her back on Anakin, and she's never forgiven herself for that. By training and believing in Sabine as Anakin trained and believed in her, she is finding her way back to a day when she can finally say, "Yes, I am a Jedi," and the redemption arc of the whole Jedi order can finally begin.

I was on the edge of my seat when I saw the purrgils. I literally said “no way they are bringing Ezra back this early!”(and they didn’t) but I do think you are right about them being way more important and I didn’t even think about that but it makes total sense. Loving the story line so far I’m thinking when Ezra does come back he will be the one to train Jacen, but we will see and I can’t wait!

No. I dont believe there was anyone who actually like that scene. There is no way. It was just so unbearably stupid. I really wish this series will be at least not absolute shit like TBOBF or Kenobi. Im not a hater, I really want this to be good, but that scene was just DUMB. It made no fucking sense. Also we got nothing from the episode. We learned nothing new! The whole episode was just nostalgia shit. Just a very bad filler episode I really wish the next episode will be worth something and wont be as bad as this one. But that scene with ashoka in space just made me question reality. I cant even imagine normal people who dont really care about SW at all and arent some super fans like I am, who just watch it as a normal person, I cant even imagine them watching it with a straight face and thinking it makes any ammount of sense.

It had exactly the same feeling over it like a prequels movie and that is something they haven't managed to capture before this. Rogue one is the closest i guess but this was the first time they competely managed to capture that classic Star Wars atmosphere/feeling again since Disney tool over. I loved this episode as much as the first two.

The training scene was great, and love that Sabine isn't an insta know it all, and struggles and makes mistakes. Also, Ahsoka going outside the ship to buy Sabene time to get the ship mostly operation to make a get away. Can't wait for Baylin Skoll and Ahsoka to meet, should be most epic. They're both highly knowledgeable fo the force and can wield it. Total badasses. Also, Space whales!

The episode did not confirm that Sabine is specifically force-sensitive, it confirmed what George Lucas has said all along that the force is in all of the Star Wars characters which means everyone has some force sensitivity, it’s just that some are way more talented at engaging it than others and as Ahsoka said, discipline and training is what gets one to harness the force with more authority.

My theory is that Baylan is actually Shin's father. The two are trying to get to Thrawn because he was somehow to blame for his wife's death. They're playing Morgaine to draw out Thrawn and in the process of trying to get revenge Baylan dies so Shin can escape. She then joins up with Ahsoka and team.

Even though it was only 30-plus minutes, this episode packed a lot of heat. It was great seeing development with Sabine as a potential Force user, the sequence involving Hera and the Senate being tense (nice seeing Jacen Syndulla for the first time) and that space battle looked quite cool. Obviously, I wish there was more runtime, but, alas, beggars can't be choosers. Excited for next week's episode!

I would personally love to see Ezra Bridger's return since there's no confirmation he died in the first place. Not to mention, the whole I'm counting on you Sabine, he said in his message in the season finale of Rebels. I like to believe he knew Sabine would rescue him or find him where ever he ended up in the galaxy. It would be a waste to kill him off screen to me at least. As for these dark jedi guys, Marrok may be Sam Winters or diffidently a man's voice for sure. Bottom line I'd like if the Rebel cast be involved in this Thrawn trilogy in the works.

The Republic being dumb comes straight from the Heir of the Empire trilogy. There, it is Leia who reports about Thrawn (having seen him) and she is not believed that a Grand Admiral ist still around and doubly not that he is non-human. She gets dismissed by certain senators, and even Mon is sceptic. So they did not need to invent a dumb Republic, it was already in the story.

This episode gave me a new perspective of the force concept. From a music perspective there's kids that have a natural ability to identify pitch rhythm etc. With proper training they can turn into a talented musician, some taking on their own students. Music teachers often talk about 'feeling the beat, listening to the the different layers of music, anticipating progressions resolutions, much like Ahsoka talks about feeling the force and anticipating actions. For those musically talented it can be as natural as breathing, but for some it's near impossible. Hence why so many kids (and adults) can't pitch the right tone nor keep a beat etc. But whats more important is disciple. Most people lacking talent fail to become musicians as they lack the discipline. Yet some who put in the work, they manage to become quite proficient. Makes sense that most beings in SW universe can't wield the force because of the same factors. Yet Sabine could increase her chances by putting in the work. Interesting stuff

There’s not a lot of theories around Shin Hati, but I think she’s the most mysterious character so far. Where did she come from? Who is she? Where did she get her Kyber crystal? I think she’s going to become a force for good. She doesn’t seem to like Morgan Elsbeth very much and is curious about where hers and Baylan’s path will go after this current mission finding Thrawn. She cozied have easily killed Sabine but didn’t. They only way that she currently knows is what Baylan Skoll has taught her but now she’s been exposed to other force users. She might have Baylan’s respect for the Jedi Order and want for preserving or not annihilating them. As far as I know, she, Sabine and Grogu are the only force users taught after Order 66, but I suspect there’s a Sith and Apprentice out there somewhere and I think Shin Hati will need to make a choice I order to preserve the balance. Or maybe I’m just drunk and tend to simp on chicks with bangs and heavy eye liner.

I love the way you describe what she Ahsoka means when she says she doesn't need her to be a Jedi. All the people who dislike her having been made into Ahsoka's padawan immediately jumped on that line took it out of context and said see she's not really training her it's just lightsaber training or it's just to humor her into she gives up and decides she better of all a mandalorian.

Ahsoka comes from one of the most critical lines of Jedi: Count Dooku Qui-Gon Jinn Obi-Wan Kenobi Anakin Skywalker Ahsoka Tano Of this list, the only Jedi you could consider to be a traditional Jedi is Kenobi. But even that could be argued as Kenobi becomes quite non-traditional after Order 66.

14:25 my issue with this scene is Ashoka not wearing magnetic boots to control her velocity when jumping off to “slice and dice”. Jedi training aside, it seemed suicidal; I mean how could she keep her extremities from freezing while on her EVA? 🧐

A few predictions: 1. Ezra returns to train Jacen next season. 2. Morrak is not a guy, and is really Omega from the bad batch. Balon is flying in The marauder. They said Omega will be back a long while ago, nows the time. Ashoka and him were about the same height, and morrak is pretty skinny for a guy. Also, this seems to be a show about powerful females with force ability, and Omega is one of them. My guess, balon and shinti were saved at some point by the bad batch, and balon offered to train Omega. Ezra has been learning from the chist in the other galaxy, and will have all kinds of other galaxy knowledge

Also, reference to Rebels when Hera said to the Senators that she wanted to prevent another war from happening. Kanan’s words of starting a war was a mistake. That moment resonated with Hera because she lost Kanan to the war with the Empire the day she told him that she loved him. I think we knew that she was thinking of him when speaking her case to the Senators.
