We learn that she is the legacy, in more that one way. She ties the Star wars universe together . The bridge, or the glue that ties The Clone Wars animated to todays series. Most likely the movies yet to come. This will for sure put series, movies and animated series at the same shelf.

They did Ashley Eckstein, Matt Lanter, and and Dee Bradley Baker dirty, by not using their clone wars voices during the flashbacks, especially Ashley, she literally wasn’t involved in ANY way, besides visiting the set and meeting Rosario, big L. Dave better use her voices in season 2 of his movie in some other flashback, like the rumored Mustafar What If scene between Anakin and Ahsoka, that was supposed to happen in season 1, but didn’t.

After watching this ep I finally understood why George cast Hayden as Anakin , he absolutely nailed it in this ep, as Vader as Anakin , portraying different versions of him , including the Matt Lenter’s version of Anakin in the clone wars animation, excellent ep imo this was the best of the show , the girl that played young Ashoka did a great job too , the music outstanding , Dave at his best

Checking out the scores The Force awakens was super positive with both audiences and critics The Last Jedi was positive with critics not audience and the rise of Skywalker was positive with the audience not critics. The sequels what's a massive success and hip with most people. It's just the people that it didn't hit make the most noise about it. But the Disney shows like this one is working out good so far

I have always loved Hayden and always knew he was a good actor. So many people attacked him unjustly because he was written in a subpar way. At times he was awkward( with Padme, in particular), he was whiny but that is what Lucas intended for him and it made sense because he had never been taught to speak to women or to cope with emotions. Here, when he is talking to Ahsoka, he can be more open and Hayden delivers. A good script and a well written character is something the authors have to deliever. The actor can't change that. He can only perform. Same with Daisy Ridley- Rey may be total shit as a character and a 1 dimensional Mary Sue, but that doesn't mean Daisy isn't good. The prequels were good films with some weak sides but content like this will save their image and finally redeem Hayden who is an amazing actor and a cool person.

Don't know if anyone picked up on but in the battle of Tett, when they first go back tot he CW, the way that Anakin deflected the blast bolts, was exactly how Dave had him do it in the Clone wars, the dodge to his left, with the saber back spinning up and to the right. If you watch The Clone Wars movie, I swear that exact sequence is somewhere in there, and if not there then in the CW series for sure.

Great, emotional SW Fan reaction, TFNF Brothers. It was truly a special episode. Anakin Skywalker has finally attained what Obi-Wan Kenobi revealed to Lord Darth Vader in A New Hope. I LOVE IT that Jacen Syndulla, at only age 10, is already displaying exotic Force powers (he's kind of experiencing what I would call reverse Force echo or Force E.S.P....perceiving an imaginary lightsaber duel within TWBW, manifested by a god-level powered Anakin Skywalker), while still untrained. Luke Skywalker, talk to this kid, and introduce him to Din Grogu. Can We appreciate what this quality collection of characters, in a theatrical trilogy, would be like, in The 2020s?! A live-action movie of The Clone Wars? At this point, I'm strongly advocating for Dave Filoni to direct a literal CGI cinematics (in the style of the trailers for, Knights Of The Old Republic, SW: Eclipse, and SW: Outlaws) adaptation of Shadows Of The Empire! May The Force Be With You...

7:10 Btw, did you know that according to “Bespin Bulletin” there was a fight scene shot between Anakin (as Hayden Christensen) and Ahsoka (as Savannah Steyn instead of Ariana Greenblatt, at least for that scene) on Mustafar in an alternate-reality-like setting during the "world-between-world like" moments, which they said was cut from the actual episode. In that scene Anakin would have showed her that she couldn't have changed his fate to become Vader even if she were there at that point, which would have taken away a lot of her guilt of her not having been there and not being able to save him, resulting in the now more light-hearted Ahsoka. They cut that scene, maybe cause it wasn't really a memory and/or cause Anakin's message/lesson was a different one? Though I still hope they would release it as a separate video on YT or sth like that, cause I would really like to see what that scene (and Savannah Steyn as Ahsoka) would have looked like and it also explains a bit better imo why Ahsoka is more enlightened and happy at the end.

I wonder why people keep saying Hayden's "redeemed" like his performance was ever bad. People's assessments of his performance was bad. He's literally the same Anakin as before but the appreciation for him wasn't there 💯

I think "redeemed" means that he finally got a script and a direction which could utilize his full potential as an actor. Back then it wasn't obvious that his performance was more due to the background work rather than his own acting skills. Only with time people realized that Hayden isn't a bad actor at all, he just didn't get the direction which would've been necessary to convey Anakin's rise and fall. He also never got the chance to show how liked Anakin had become during the Clone Wars, who he grew to become the face of the Jedi Order and a hero every young boy wanted to become in the galaxy. He only got to play the awkward teenage Anakin with horrible dialouges, and his fall into becoming Vader, but us, the audience, didn't get to see his journey between the two. At least, not with him. Because in the end, we got to see his journey, just by Matt Lanter. He now finally got the chance to play Anakin once more, directed by the one man who already showed us how well he understands what made Anakin Anakin and why his fall was so tragic to everyone, not just to those who knew him personally. And under his hand, Hayden finally shined and proved he wasn't a bad choice back then, he just never had an opportunity to show.
