"One is never too old to learn, snips". He was 45 when he died. Ahsoka is 47. To me, the lesson he was teaching her was the difference between surviving and living. It was the last lesson he learned, from Luke, when he was her age. From the moment he betrayed Ahsoka, she's been surviving, and her purpose, her conviction, gone. She's got no friends, family or companions around her, no attachment, just as a Jedi should be. But Ahsoka is no Jedi, and like Anakin said he's now passed on the final lesson he learned to her, even what he learned in his final moments. And then as he's smiling and remembering about his last lesson by Luke, she says, "I won't fight you" and he chuckles, because that's also what Luke said to him before that last fight. When his heart was full of rage and darkness that fight is what brought him back. So he turns on his lightsaber, and gets ready to pass that on to her. You live, truly live, or you die just like he did when he became Vader. Just surviving is as good as death. At least that's my take on it.

People keep forgetting that George Lucas was still making the decision back when clone wars came out. He was the reason Maul was brought back when meanwhile everybody called him insane especially Filoni & then he did it & went to everyone after & said see he was right. It’s the reason Filoni decided to kill off Maul for no reason whatsoever in rebels when he had so much more to give. Lucas was also the reason that clone wars was made because he waited many years after the original trilogy because he wanted to create Anakin’s story but said it would take too much time & cgi wasn’t as advanced as it is today, so he waited to make the prequels then he wanted to make an animated show so that he could use the smaller budget more wisely to expand his story. Lucas hasn’t been involved with most of the new stuff which is why most of the new stuff just feel … different. He’s supposedly been on set for this show though

Anakin was trying to teach Ahsoka to let go of her pain and fault thinking that her walking away from the Jedi and Anakin caused the fall to the dark side. She's become more cautions and cynical as you've seen in the earlier episodes after rumours of Thrawn. She also was a bit more pessimistic and lacking 'hope.' Anakin is trying to show her to let go of her guilt for him, the Order and that his GOOD parts of his legacy are what she incorporates and he passes down, not his legacy of pain and destruction and violence as Vader, so she disassociates from him because of WHO he became. And he is showing her her first and last CW battles to show how far she came and how she took on the best of him in the situations when he wasn't around - hence letting go of him and her guilt. How she was so guilty of the deaths of the Clones in the first mission to how she let go of death and became a commander during the Siege of Mandalore. She still carries the guilt of the Clones lost, and Anakin's, after walking away from the Jedi Order she still feels that it was a mistake when in fact it was the right thing to do. Cere Junda in Jedi Survivor game said it best to Cal Kestis: CERE: Cal - You're still struggling with the dark side. Even after cutting yourself off from the Force Cere - We will always struggle. But that IS the test. This is THE episode. Exceeds The Rescue from Mando IMO and as great as the Andor Series episodes and Andor Finale. This episode is the best SW content post Original trilogy ever made because it honours CW, Rebels and the Originals.

I know Dave Filoni is making a movie that's supposed to be coming out in a couple of years, Thrawn is being setup to be the big bad evil in that I reckon. We will most def see Thrawn next episode.

Jacen is Hera's son with Kanan Jarrus (aka Caleb Dume) who was a Jedi. Also, Ahsoka's head-tails are called lekku instead of tentacles. 😊

To clarify at 9:17 he switches to vader to portray that ashoka still views him as vader and not anakin jedi knight

Anakin and obi were born and grew up in a era of peace, Ahsoka was born straight into war. She feels that’s all her worth just being a soldier that brought destruction and not a true Jedi that brings peace. She thinks her future will be like vaders That’s why Anakin says “your more then that because I was more then that” meaning your not just a soldier because I wasn’t only just a soldier. And it’s up to you to choose who you are, “to fight”.

This is where the fun begins!!!!! I absolutely Love this episode!!!!! Seeing Hayden Christianten and Rosario Dawson playing as Anakin and Ahsoka in live-action puts a huge smile on my face 😌 The circle is now complete! 🙏🏽💪

Hands DOWN the best episode. Disney is the ONLY company mixing live and animated action as if they're contiguous. Salute the vision

Live action one piece ?
@maakuw Жыл бұрын
First off, one piece is not a UNIVERSE, it's a show with some OVAs and spin offs. Not impressed by One Peice, live action or no. Meandering "chosen one" anime like Black Clover, One Peice, Sweet Reincarnation, just NEVER END so I'm gonna continue to pass like I do on Dragon Ball [insert version here] LOL@@_ripVanWinkle_

Even if you just watched the very last season (7) of animated Clone wars you'd be caught up on Ahsoka background and it'd give more context to this series

Seeing live action little kid Asoka in live action kinda makes me see how messed up the Jedi were

It's revealed padawan as young as 12 years old (Cal Kestis from SW Fallen Order/Survivor) were sent to war and like others have already commented both the Jedi order and the Republic legalized the use of child soldiers like it was the norm (let alone the ethical implications of the Clones), just goes to show the Galaxy was rotten before Sidious came to power.

I haven’t seen many people notice or comment, but when Ahsoka says she wants to live while holding his lightsaber, she gets sith eyes when she says it. Very tiny detail, but so cool.
@trembledust6819 Жыл бұрын
yea a few other youtube reactors commented on that. I didnt catch it at first watch but after watching a few reactions I was like....ooooo shit they did. At first I thought they were seeing the glow of Anakin's lighsaber in her eyes but yea her eyes did turn sith for a hot min.

Ashoka was 14 at the start of Clone Wars. The last scene in the flashback was her at 17. Specifically during Season 7, which was the Siege of Mandalore against Darth Maul's Death March.

Yoooo! the actress that played Teenage Ahsoka is the same actress that played young Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War

You guys really should watch Rebels and Clone Wars, this episode hits so much harder with those 2 series as context.

6:13 that is Hera’s actual biological son. His father was Kanan Jarrus: a human jedi that survived Order 66 and was one of the main characters in Rebels (alongside her, Sabine, Ezra, Ahsoka, the dude named Zeb, and Chopper). Edit: Just went back and watched it. I can see they only had 1 kid.

Jacen is Hera's son :D They mentioned his dad was a Jedi called Kanan Jarrus, he and Hera were in a relationship but he died before Jacen was born. Kannan was a badass as well and pretty powerful so Jacen def has some good amount of natural force potential passed on to him via Kanan.

He was showing her the past to show she could never stop fighting and live a peaceful life. He told her live or die, the moment you stop fighting you will die and she wasn’t getting the point, so he used vador to send the message, being able to defeat vador completed her training because he is the chosen. Anakin can switch between good and bad because he is who holds balance in the force. If you watch clone wars, the spirits who were holding the balance told him he would be the one to tip the scales, the father who kept balance between his children light and the dark. The dark killed his father which broke the balance and which palpatine would win the war and darth vador would be born.

About the whales and why they didnt go to them first is cause they havent seen them since the end of rebels and their mission was mainly trying to stop the bad guys from using the map.
