They put Ezra in an inquisitor suit so he wont speak or interact with the women to much so that Feloni can focus on women fighting women. The acylote is going to be the same thing. I was also amused that a lightsabre thrust through one's core typically kills male characters, but for female characters, such a wound requires only an inpatient trip to the ER. So, for women, apparently, lightsabres are non-lethal weapons. Men, apparently, are more fragile. And why do we have a map showing the way to the hidden supervillain's location? AI Created this about the arrival of the Tho Yor, keep in mind I haven't read the comics so I don't know if this is cannon or not. The Tho Yor Arrival Long ago, in a galaxy far away, there was a great and powerful civilization known as the Celestials. The Celestials were believed to be the creators of many wonders of the galaxy, including the Tho Yor, massive pyramidal ships that could travel through the vastness of space without the need for a hyperdrive. One day, the Tho Yor began to arrive on several planets. No one knew why they appeared or what their purpose was. People from all over the planets came to investigate, but none knew the true motives of the Tho Yor. But as time went by, it became clear that the Tho Yor had come to gather individuals who were strong with the Force, a mysterious energy field that flowed through all living beings. The Tho Yor sought to bring these Force-sensitive beings to a place called "the Forge," where they would be trained and prepared for a great conflict that was yet to come. It was a time of uncertainty and fear, but also of hope and wonder. Many answered the call of the Tho Yor and joined the journey to the Forge. They came from different backgrounds, different planets, and different species. But they all shared one thing in common: the potential to become wielders of the Force. As the Tho Yor left each planet, carrying its passengers towards the Forge, the people who remained behind wondered what had just happened. Some feared that the Tho Yor's arrival was a sign of doom, a prelude to destruction. Others saw it as a sign of opportunity, a chance to explore new frontiers and unravel the mysteries of the universe. But for those who journeyed on the Tho Yor, there was no doubt about the significance of their experience. They were on a path to greatness, to a destiny that was both individual and collective. They had been chosen by the Tho Yor, and they would not disappoint. And so they traveled, through the vastness of space, towards the Forge and a future that was still shrouded in mystery. But one thing was certain: the Tho Yor had arrived, and nothing would ever be the same again.

Funny. The comments on SWTheory reviews are overwhelmingly positive. I thought it was meh.

I feel bad for the new Republic guard in the beginning who only got cut on the back of his leg and dies. There is even the burned pants leg to verify his hit, and he dies. LOL I understand your point about dialog. There was no banter, like old friends seeing each other again. The lack of excitement of seeing each other. I can't fault the look of the show. It always looks good. As for the paper, She is an artist. I would think no matter how far in the future we are, an artist would have paper or canvas. I can forgive that. As for Sabine becoming a jedi, no. I think she was just training to use a lightsaber. Now for the bigger issue I saw. The opening scene. The Ship Captain. It was almost Star Trek. Him sitting in the center of the bridge, talking to crew at their stations. Sensors, Comms. It almost like... No, I won't go no further till I see more. :o)

What I love most about the Disney's Ahsoka series is the fact that Disney completely dismissed all the Star Wars EU books and then immediately rips them off because they have no ideas of their own!

I agree only with the fights, they are really stupid and about the injuries, the dart maul was generally cut in half twice, and at least that, shook it off and went on new technologies, etc.

I was wondering why some map-macgoffin would show the way to Thrawn. Does Thrawn even know himself where he is? Why would some ancient temple hold a map to him?

It’s always funny & kinda weird to seeing characters who get transitioned from animation to real life, like the feeling of the real live action stuff vs animation always feels different than it supposed to be the only Rebels character that was 💯 accurate was Zeb & he was jus a cameo i hope we get him in the series
@christiansorensen7567 Жыл бұрын
You can spot CGI Zeb in the last season of the Mandalorian. Dave Filloni is also in the pilots bar, wearing his cowboy hat. Filloni-verse as least tries to have continuity, and maintain lore, which is more than I can say for anything KK oversees.

This has to stop Starwars needs to make it definitive that if you get stabbed with a lightsaber you either live (I will believe if you are rushed to a hospital and given cybernetics you will live) or die cause this and Reeva (which Reeva is worst since she was a child) is getting ridiculous. Also if that captain knew those 2 weren't Jedi from that code why let them on board your ship in the first place it's like they're too stupid to live?

He probably did not expect dark jedis, but random pirates
@BlackDragoonV7 Жыл бұрын
@syc6598 I do think your right but they could of justified it better by having them using the force to get them to open the door. But even so are the people in this new republic huffing paint cause it makes the captain look completely irresponsible for either to be the excuse?

Disclaimer: I talk about both episodes I don't know why KZbinrs are only covering 1 when both were released at the same time.. Only characters I liked so far were Baylan Skoll & his apprentice Shin Hati (she seems to be the only one that has a sense of urgency to what's going on). The 2 droids Huyang & Chopper were also pretty good. Ahsoka herself is coming off as stiff & Sabine is just not pleasant at all. The only thing she had going for her was her long purple and orange hair and she cut it off (the real tragedy here). Whoever is playing Lady Morgan Elsbeth the bad witch or whatever, she's coming off as cheesy and has no real evil intimidating presence whatsoever. I don't watch the animated side of Star Wars since they seem to put me in a coma after 2 episodes. The show is watchable compared to some episodes of Book of Boba Fett & the Disney sequels. I'll give it that for now. Disney Lightsaber fights need SOS levels of help tho.

It's probably due to time constraints, the amount of time it takes to edit, script etc.

Demon slayer, how to introduce, establish and fill out a hero, and then have that hero have a magnificent death saving both strangers and friends. Also demon slayer, established a both extremely feminine and deadly hero.

Is it any wonder anime and manga is currently outselling DC and manga? If you also want character development, you might want to see Black Clover.

Strange thing to me was that I actually somehow found the story not bad. The thing that brought it down for me was the titular character - Ahsoka. She appeared to be stone-cold and too smug. At the end of rebels, she felt wise and strong, but also had that...kindness and warmth of heart about her. The latter ones were completely missing from the first two episodes. I also did not get why she felt it was necessary to train Sabine. Yes, Sabine learnt how to wield a lightsaber - but that does not make a Jedi IMO. In fact, lightsabers can be just another piece in your Mandalorian weapons rack. The best character in this show so far is the older, non-Jedi guy (sadly, the actor passed away, so - RIP). Anything else felt a bit wooden. Cool action though. But the first two episodes did not feel quite right. Hopefully, Ahsoka will manage to get back on track. This one felt more like a brick.

Yeah, Mandos literally had the Blacksaber. Was basically a legendary weapon, but a weapon nonetheless. Not everyone needs to be Force sensitive and swinging around lightsabers.
@1duncantalks659 Жыл бұрын
right Lightsabers now give you a boo-boo so when you are stabbed it is ouch that hurt Please don't do that again. In the map room scene, you could hear the things locking in place and it was painfully slow. in the end, ahsoka plays second fiddle in her own show

It's sad how fights in Star Wars are nowadays. The spinning is stupid. You shouldn't show the enemy your back. Imo it's annoying. It doesn't even look good. Imo a good fight is Achilles vs Hector in the Troy movie from 2004. That was without spinning and looked good. In Star Wars, most of Obi Wan vs Anakin was good. Qui Gon vs Maul was filmed in a good way. You could see the blades, you could see what happens. Now they spin, and they always film the faces. Imo it's just bad 😕
@joehenry9546 Жыл бұрын
I liked it, but it would be nice to see more male characters that aren’t foolish, or bad. Also, it actually is possible to get stabbed in the right lower abdomen where Sabine got stabbed and survive. So at least that wasn’t terrible, but it is redundant after Obi Wan.

The Ashoka series is more destructive to Star Wars lore and canon than what appears at first glance. It establishes that George Lucas' galaxy is part of a multiverse and you can travel between them. Since this series takes place between episodes 6 and 7, Disney can now say that the Sequel trilogy took place in a different Star Wars galaxy and that's why legacy characters acted different and lore was seemingly broken. It can also allow them to re-tell the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker (Episodes 1-6) as it unfolded in this new Star Wars galaxy, effectively retconning the George Lucas universe and his extended universe. They can then win any argument by simply saying that was the old universe, this is the new one. This attitude is reflected in lines like "The past is the past. Move forward", and "Let the past die, kill it if you have to". Being able to travel to new galaxies opens the door for cross-over series as well. I keep hearing rumors of Star Wars vs. Star Trek which could now be a possibility. I'm not sure if Disney is smart enough to think of this, but one of the mandates for Star Wars was go bigger. What's bigger than a galaxy? A multiverse full of galaxies that can be explored. I hope I'm wrong. Please tell me I've overlooked something. But I've got a bad feeling about this.

Dave said he wants to create more female characters. Well all I see is Dave taking characters that someone else created. And destroying them. This is Disney's star wars. One of the most powerful weapons in star wars a lightsaber. Disney has basically neutered it.

It now makes sense why Ewan McGregor did the car shaming video. He got his wife hired for a role on KK female SW coming down the pike. She certainly was not hired for her acting. Ewan was preemptively trying to shame fans into acceptance knowing full well the more blatant messaging was coming and his wife is a part of it. I no longer wonder if Ewan is just towing the line for the money or if he believes in what his wife believes in.
