I heard Rory McCann is great friends with Ray Stevenson and took the role, I imagine partially as a tribute to his friend. This made me feel good about it. Rory could bring a darkness to this character like The Hound if he chooses. I was a great fan of Rome (but don’t remember all the details of it) but will watch your videos if you revisit the series.

Yes! Talk about Rome! That was my introduction to Ray Stevenson. As well as Kevin McKidd (yeah, I know he was in Trainspotting, but since he was the most normal person in the cast, he unfortunately went unnoticed by me), James Purefoy, Indira Varma, Ciaran Hinds, Polly Walker, Tobias Menzies, Kerry Condon, and I'm probably forgetting twelve other amazing actors. It was such an insane level of talent both in front of and behind the camera. If you wanna talk about Rome, I am SO there. That show blew my mind.

I am all for continuing Skoll's story. I thought he should have been continued in animation maybe, but if they're doing a live-action continuation of Ahsoka, I think Mr. Stevenson himself would agree that Baylan Skoll's story needs to continue and conclude.

Do you mean they shouldn't have recasted by "story needs to end" or by "the story needs to end" do you mean with the second season continue his story and end it in a satisfying way

I loved Rome as well. I am down for you doing s video reviewing Rome. Rome also stated Kevin McKidd, who went on to star in Grey's Anatomy for many years. Ray Stevenson was also great in the movie King Arthur. He was one of Arthur's knights.

Thank You so much for the update. I've dreaded both not having Balon on the show and who would replace Ray Stevens. Rory McCann is someone I did not consider. It could be genius. Please talk about" Rome". As a Roman history buff, I loved the show.

So excited by this recast. Was worried the Skoll would be deepfaked or not appear in Ahsoka Season 2. Rory McCain was great as the Hound in GOT so I'm looking forward to see his portrayal of the character 🙂 Great video

Saw Stevenson at a small Punisher War Journal panel. The nerds grilled him and he won them over McCann was one of the better parts of the last Jumanji movie

Love The Hound. I love that video of the best of the Hound from Game of Thrones. I never finished Asoka. I'll have to finish it before season 2 starts. I hope he always says the Star Wars version of the word "Cunt" like he always did in Game of Thrones. I'd watch a huge video about that Rome show. I never got to see it and I'm wondering if I should. Also, Punisher War Zone if my favourite Punisher movie with he and Thomas Jane being my fave Franks.

I didn't think anybody else could take over the role but this is interesting. The writing didn't seem that strong in season 1 but hopefully that will improve.

Pullo is one of my favorite characters. No, I don't mean from the series Rome, I mean out of any tv series ever. I'd check out a Rome episode (note: the algorithm introduced me to you and this is the first video of yours I've seen).

I loved (him in) Rome. Good pseudohistorical look at the era. I guess my biggest beef with Ahsoka is really my beef with Episodes 7 to 9. I don't like the direction the New Republic has gone, so much like the Old Republic.

i think this is going to be another Hellboy 🙁.. they should just tell his story in animation .. most recasting of good rolls just don't work because the actor end up trying to play the actor not the character ...also Ahsoka 2 ? WHY? just add her to "grogu the Mandalorian" movie /tv show 😆 btw: is Ahsoka still alive in the time of Rey Skywalker ? i am not sure how long her species live for? if she is i would love to see Ahsoka in the "New Jedi Order" Movie
