If yoda got invincible frames during his dash attack, I genuinly believe he'd go to A or S tier. The fact lightsaber heroes can parry it and make the tradeoff way worse for yoda makes the ability bad to use most the time.

Agreed. Sad part is I love playing yoda against people that don’t know this because he IS fun when he wins, but a good dueler will make it hard for me

Funnily enough he doesn’t need it. Yoda has dash attack exploits that makes him ridiculously OP. 3 things that makes his dash attack so powerful: - it goes through blocks - it does damage from all 360 degrees - it has an insanely huge hitbox If you use him right, you can chain the dash attack 3 times in a row, without any risk of getting parried or hit. Remember, you can do a normal dash through your enemy, and follow it up with a dash attack. Not only will this register as a hit, but it will do more damage since it’s a hit from behind. It’s hard to explain this all in a comment, but I’ve got videos on my PomPamPoof account showcasing it.

I think his largest downside is his damage output, but that ultimately is determined by how good you are at finding openings and what cards you use.

Obi wan is basically light side Vader minus the dmg but his rush deals good dmg and if u get a push with a double hit ur still good to go. He’s very hard to kill because of his regen

Hero’s vs villains should either only have lightsaber characters or should have a game mode with those restrictions. It should also have a 1 v 1 game mode

I think one of the reasons why both Vader and Grievous are on top of the Tier is that they don’t deal reduced damage towards heroes. Pair that with the ability looping and you get easy high damage. In the case of Grievous if he lands Thrust surge, he can easily follow it with Claw rush, and if timed right he gets one more basic strike (160+130+130=420 ; with cards 520) The others don’t have the same looping capabilities, or deal less damage overall (may have better range though) Don’t get me wrong, in a fight experience may be the determine factor, but this advantage makes it easier overall for game modes like HvV

Couldn't agree more, I've been playing only grevious and obiwan for the longest time. Both heroes are nearly unkillable if you play them right and you can get 100+ killstreaks with minimal effort.

Grievous really is a more advanced hero to me than others. There's a learning curve to him regardless of mode, where unskilled players or new ones who don't have cards for him will get shredded due to poor stamina and ability usage but once he has the right setup he turns into a tanky beast

Incredible video. I main Luke and Grievous, with Luke on MAX and Grievous around 670. The way you made the video super informative, while also syncing it to the music AND providing epic clips....🥺👌. There's only one thing that I'd disagree with: I believe Yoda is a really good duelist with his excellent lunges, insane tanki-ness and most importantly his block breaker. Nevertheless excellent video, the work you put into it really shows👍🙏

Personally, I don't think Grievus is the strongest of the villains, it is true that "meat is weak" makes him a completely different hero and he is perhaps the third most tankable character in the game (behind obviously Obiwan and Vader) But still he has too many disadvantages, in HvV or even HSD duels where you fight against you know all his skills are counterable you have to hit your opponent so you can do damage (I'm not denying that his combo damage is huge but that amount of damage can be equal or greater in vader, rey, luke and anakin) Its rush is parrable and blockable and unless you are at a very short distance you can dodge it with blasters if you roll back, its rush is one of the most teleguided attacks in the game, you can parrear it and punish with sabers and dodge it easily with blasters its only real use is punishing jumps, closing distance or ramming unsuspecting enemies (and I don't think it's really necessary to talk about UA its only real use is to buy time maybe cheat in corridors but anyone with more than 10 hours in hvv will understand how bad and unreliable it is in other game modes) Basically, it differs from other tanks, its abilities are countable, useful merely in mobility. I recognize that it has perhaps the third or fourth best mobility in the entire game, but it lacks the efficiency in its abilities, such as Vader, which I could certainly say has been the most broken hero in the game forever except for anakin and grievus in his oneshot era

I agree with most of the choices in the video but giving Grievous speed and agility, I don't agree, as much as his jump may be fast but he is rather slow compared to most heroes, especially for his basic attack speed, and seeing that Unrelenting Advance doesn't work properly compared to before where it was punitive (really punitive now people have to be really stupid to get killed by ability)

I recommend flesh is weak, beating heart, and line up weaklings for trooper modes. I replace line up weakling with jedi killer in hero modes personally but there are other good options, the range boost is crazy tho for hvv. If u duel in showdown don't use that one, but I just play hvv so it's useful

Really annoying when my eneimies constantly track basic attack me throughout the map but it wont let me do it to them. It would be really useful for securing my kills. Also how come whenever i try to cc an enemy that is using basic attacks they just attack through it?

They are holding down the sprint button while attacking which is what causes them to constantly lunge towards you while you try to get away. Some heroes have different ranges of their lunge attack, the worst being Rey imo who I’ve seen lunge like 3 dodges worth of distance in one swing. The reason why enemies aren’t getting CC’d by you while they are attacking is because they are holding block while attacking. This causes their guard to come up much sooner than their animation shows, so it looks like they are still attacking when in reality their block is back up again. There’s only a very short window when their guard is down while attacking, which is between the start and a bit before their attack animation finishes

It's had 2 hits since he released buddy, the animation looks like one hit but it has TWO TICKS of damage, the first one which is only 40 happens immediately as he raises his saber to swing, and the second when and if you actually land it. Just go in arcade mode and test it out.
