The entry 3D model creation market will be completely replaced by AI, but college is already not worth it. It’s an outdated system not designed for the rapidly evolving future we’re living in, and it hasn’t been for some time. On the other end, each person will able to make work many orders of magnitude better than ever before. One person will be able to do the work it takes 1,000 to do today. Much of what used to cost millions of dollars to do will soon be free, so the future will be the exact opposite of the one you’re imagining. We’re about to enter a golden age of more great work than ever before in history.

@@Si1verThief Even if that’s the case and A.I. replaces every single job, that’s the best possible outcome. Jobs aren’t the goal. The goal is to use A.I. and automation to create such a world of abundance, that the entire antiquated notion of having to work just to survive becomes obsolete, so that people can instead work on what’s important or meaningful to them. And because of that, a job may be replaced, but you as an artist can never be replaced.

Works you create using AI that are modified enough from the original can be copyrighted. So if you use an AI generated 3D model in a film or game, that film can still be copyrighted.

That’s not possible. Jobs aren’t even the point, but just because machines do something doesn’t mean humans can’t also do those things. AI beat the world’s best chess player decades ago, and today, chess has never been more popular among people.

These tools are only in their infancy. For reference, you should look how fast Midjourney evolved in a year. Or now video in just one year with Sora AI. You may not want to underestimate these technologies.

@@FILMCRUX with due respect those are only images which are great for gathering textures excluding sora. I feel like 3d modeling has an even longer way to go. When I used said program it would spit out 3d blobs with messy textures. Maybe in 2 to 3 years we can actually see something of it...hopefully sooner!

@@lakai69dg Obviously those other AI tools are not designed for 3D, but Midjourney currently has a text-to-3D generator in the works that they say will be out this year, and OpenAI will likely develop one too if they’re not already. These will evolve way faster than you might think.

Generating some thing out of existing datamodels is first of all full of copyright contents , secondly beyond a world of internet these so called AI softwares doesn't know what human creativity is . There exists creativity in the minds of people which were never been available online. As long as AI systems can't sense what they actually have created , it doesn't make any sense.A pile of great artworks already dumbed over internet, now all these miraculous AI capabilities just endup eating up the remaining storage in world with henerating another pile of nonsensical data .And the AI training models after a certain point will go into a never ending loop of trying to find creativity as data generated by AI will confuse AI data models with human created ones and end up in producing things no one wants .

@@FILMCRUX Listening to marketing guys is good but also go through some real research around this hype, Tagging everything AI doesn't make things AI. Just dumping all online data to some powerful computers and getting excited to see the combined processing speed responding already known data back to human is actually a sign of our own diminishing power to think and innovate. If so called AI still cannot resolve an unsolved problem in physics or maths,or atleast generete a new piece of code unknown to human , it doesn't have any intelligence of its own , its just another human fed machine. It should be seen as just assisting technologies to improve our own capabilities, but what actually happens is that imaginary cost savings and time savings by modern technology also end up making us waste more money and time on it.
