What if we integrated blockchain technology into the data that the AI models are training on? So that the output inherently has this underlying identifiable characteristic? I'm not a professional in this field so I don't know what the flaws in this idea are

Who cares who it was written by if it yields the desired outcome? Sure, you can argue that you are bypassing the learning experience, but thats not true if you are proofreading and checking out ideas and concepts which were generated by the AI. Take the bible for instance; I use AI to really understand concepts which i used to have to seek an expert to answer, but now I have an expert to consult at my fingertips. Same goes for any other subject. What if you were going through college for astrophysics and you were living with an engineer from NASA? Its almost the same thing.

Let's go back to asking the people to speak about their content for 2 minutes. That's all it will take to Guage if they wrote it themselves or not.

There is a chance that if the person tried to learn from the AI text instead of just copy pasting, that the person will be able to talk about it, even though they did not really are the authors of the given text, in this case if you only seek checking if the person understood the topic at hand, than you succeed in checking that, but if your objective was to only check the authorship, then you just failed miserably.
