But that's the big question right? How does meaning and meaninglessness exist in a dynamic tension in art? Nothing the AI said is wrong, and it does not detract from art's value just because some people see meaning and others do not. Art exists because meaning is not inherent. If that makes you uncomfortable, good. Because that's what art education is about.

excatly that's the problem real journalism is not on the plateau but directly on the toilet
@gung-hochang957326 күн бұрын
Yeah, but also neah. :) I know I'm not supposed to reply seriously, but I'm gonna do it anyway. On one hand some podcasts are kinda "empty" and "pointless". But a lot of podcasts are genuinely very good and is full of content. But, even those with "99 % filling, 1 % poo poo pee pee", if you are a ponderer, it can throw you into thoughts and contemplation no matter the subject or whether it's of substance. It might not even seem related, it usually doesn't for me. But then again, I have ADHD (a form of brain doodoo), so maybe it's just me. For instance, this video made me think about some my past, some electronics projects, some self-improvement stuff, some specific new thoughts/analysis of a movie I watched recently and much more. Sometimes, what you (constantly) needs is something to answer your brain that goes yappin' at a speed of over 9000 yapps a second (Y/s). Also, a pedantic friend of mine called (someone who is not me) and wanted me to point out that while you wrote "poo poo pee pee" it's actually "PeePee PooPoo". I personally think this pedantic friend of mine should spare his "pedantics", to me they're nothing but antics.
@gung-hochang957326 күн бұрын
My pedantic friend called again. He wanted to point out that I made a lot of typos in my comment. He is making me write this comment. He has severe OCD and if I don't do what he needs me to do then he will do irrational stuff like inventing an oven that cools itself down to point where it wastes double the energy and somehow ends up doubling the heating capacity because the thermal energy has to go somewhere, you know, so if you completely cool the energy you're just moving energy. So what he actually did was make a really stupid oven enhancements, when we already have stuff like heat pumps, which are really interesting btw. Let's say you put 1000 W into it. That would (depending on the environment and specific heatpump) get you, say, 4000 W worth of heating. That seems like cheating the laws of physics, doesn't it? Well, it does until you read further into how the technology works (or just watch a couple good YT videos on it). Hehe, I bet I made everyone go research heat pumps now. ^^, ... @@justin_ooo No, it would not. If you ask it to analyze it, it would give you an analysis. That's what LLMs do, they give you what you want. If you ask ChatGPT to point you to all four Rs in strawberry, there's a high chance that it will. There is analysis here. The fact that the LLM arrived at Dadaism is commendable, but it's drowned out by diarrhea of bullshit that weaves in and out of ideas without any cohesive thought process, it's beyond rambling, it is nothing. And no, not all podcasts just ramble, the problem is that the LLM doesn't "understand" anything, it just ties together shit it thinks fits based on what was said before. And then it uses connectors that make no sense, tying together contradictory statements with causal conjunctions, for example.
