@@maccagrabme AI is going to be the best thing for art in our lifetme. We have had ZERO truly creative people in probably twenty+ years. All ideas are stale. All artists are the same. CGI ruined hollywood. Even the writers are crap beause their minds are immersed in what already exists. This short video has at least 2 or 3 ideas that could be extrapolated into entire films. And WOW.. does this look cooler than CGI by a factor of 10.000 or what. If this is a 9/10 then even the best CGI is a 1/10.

@@stoneneils - yup! for the last couple months i wondered about the link between AI and CGI textures... in some AI images one can sorta see the subtle guiding influence of sampling CGI textures... but! in some AI images i've recently generated of say a riverbank near a canoe... looking at the riverbank grass trying to see if i can see "texels" of any kind, and i can't see any at all! the complexity is off the charts! it is a very wonderful blend of the ultra-high-rez of photos with the human world of CGI textures and texels... and yep i think you are totally right, it is a level of complexity that CGI textures can never match. :p traditional non-associative CGI has been left in the dust i believe :p

Alright, I figure it like this. Some pharmacists from a Norman Rockwell painting drank for 12 days straight, and at some point, somebody brought some ShrinkyDinks, and it got heavy for a while, then they made Peter Cushings 2nd cousin their king. A zebra man went to a costume party , but everyone else was dressed like a Sea Monkeys.
