I can see the problem this causes for content creators, which is unfortunate. But as a viewer, I also am glad it is available because I am tired of all the clickbait thumbnails that are misleading and cause you to sit through a video until you realize it's deceptive.

Last Saturday I called a repair shop to get an appliance fixed. What I got on the line was Hi I'm Susan your AI generated host. How can I help you. So you explain this ongoing problem you are having. All this thing does is talks in circles and says I don't understand, can I make an appointment for you. I get fed up and say no I'll call back on Monday when I can speak to a human being. It's been bad enough calling some of these larger companies and trying to talk to a person. For English press one. For this dept. press two. This drives me absolutely crazy. Now we are going into the next phase of this BS.

I absolutely hate how seemingly every tech company is trying to shove this garbage down your throat no matter how pointless it is, I even heard that for some KZbinrs they now have an option to auto generate video thumbnails and automatically generate video ideas for you if you're too brainless to come up with an idea yourself.

I'm tired of this AI crap too and social media apps are now trying to force it on people. For example...... Instagram is now AI generated. It didn't use to be this way and there's no way to change it or go back to a previous version. Over your profile picture it asks "What's on your mind" right over your profile picture so you can't even see your own profile picture anymore. I hate it. I keep having to delete the app and install it again. When I do that it will go back to the way it used to be but only for a few hours and then my phone will update the app and go back to the AI version

I'm wondering if you can go back to those videos with the AI summaries, and somehow replace them with your own summaries. You should look to see if there is an "edit" option on those summaries, because if there are, then you can simply change the parts you don't want on there. Either that, or re-title your video, "In Praise of Mondays!" About those chapters, I see that a lot on some of Neil DeGrasse Tyson's longer "Startalk" videos, in which he and a guest talk about various scientific topics, and you can let your cursor hover over the red line to see what each chapter is about. Also, on the Capo Fetish channel, there are many videos of lists, like "Sublime Closing Tracks from 1972," and there are usually chapters to reveal what he's talking about.

I wonder if there is a way to opt out the AI feature in your settings. Typically when the social media overlords roll out new stuff like this they will drop it in as an option in your settings with it turned on and as a user you have to go in and turn it off if you don't want it. Hopefully that is the case here. Good luck opening the pod bay doors!

I totally agree, Joe... and these are scary times and only going to get worse. I hate it when I go to reply to someone and there is a ready made AI response. I've actually used it when it's a simple "thank you" or whatever but 99 per cent of the time it is just annoying as *uck.

Just checked Joe, go to KZbin Studio and go to settings then Advance Settings and turn off A.I. training mode.

In my Advanced Settings it says something about "Third Party AI Training". But that box is unchecked.

That's what I'm thinking. HOWEVER - I have noticed that even when writing my own summary, AI takes the liberty of breaking some videos down into "skip to chapters" anyway!
