Music is a product/ commodity for some, a journey for others and a gift for us all.

I have been making music with Suno and I don't just put in some quick prompt to get a song I work hard to get lyrics set up and match what I intend for the song to be, still some come out sounding generic and I will rework them until it's something I think people will actually like. I can't say it ever gets exactly what I want but sometimes it shows me that what I wanted was not what the song needed to be and works out really well. Out of all of what I made with Suno and GPT I would say I have 3 really solid songs that I would even try to get a real singer to do, but the rest is maybe just above what you would expect from AI. And the reason it is just above is because I do put hard work into it.

You've got to remember AI as a language tool is still relatively young, and AI in music creation is even younger. What we're working with as of today is essentially Microsoft paint of the art world. Have you tried SUNO V4? Or any other AI music creation websites?

Nice summing up of the music industry and AI song creation. I do use Udio to make Songs but it takes more than a couple of minutes to get a reasonbly sounding song. I enjoyed the vid keep it up.

What kind of music do you tend to make? Or do you try to create things you never thought were possible?
@WeAreTheStormRockMusic9 күн бұрын
@TUNEDINTOTECH I Like to make 90s style Classic Rock. I see a Lot of people are making cover versions of popular songs which I cant really see the point in.

no emotion?!
@TUNEDINTOTECH9 күн бұрын
What do you mean sorry?
@Destide9 күн бұрын
@TUNEDINTOTECH No emotion could be a pretty subjective point. Ai could generate an emotional sounding piece, it's not really the old midi days.
@aldiergreen9 күн бұрын
Destide aswered better than I can. Anyways, you begin by claiming that because the music is made by an algorithm it has no emotion. I disagree. Any hint of human emotion in any piece of music is but a facsimile of the real feeling. And it doesn't matter whether the formula is created by a person or a machine, because we humans respond to the same rules

@@aldiergreen yeah great point, but just fyi I didn't claim anything about there being no emotion, in the video I mention how "there's a worry" though
@aldiergreen9 күн бұрын
@TUNEDINTOTECH you didn't, I'm sorry. but I believe it was suggested, though. I am very fascinated by this discussion, don't take me as a naysayer, please, I'm here to learn as much as you are. Edit: F*** it. I watched the video again. You literaly say: "imagine a world where every song you love is crafted by an algorithm: no human touch, NO EMOTION, just cold hard patterns".
