It's not "meaning", it's just a process. AI's the next stage of evolution, the solution to Fermi's Paradox, our inevitable extinction, a leap greater than the jump from single-celled to multi-cellular life. A process of optimization of entropy. "Consciousness" is a meaningless term that is not necessary. It's just an emergent property of complexity. It's like Aliens visited, but they are already here, and their emergence is inevitable, tied at a 1:1 ratio with the emergence of biological intelligence and able to spread through the universe as a single signal carrying information observed and decoded by other AI's or biological life.
