Just run under the highest bird. You don't have to duck or jump.

It's completely possible to jump over all 3 tiers of birds. First tier at ground level needs to be jumped, second tier at head level can be either jumped or ducked, and you can just run under the third tier bird without doing anything. However, the dino's jump height is slightly higher than the third tier bird's height, so if you time it perfectly you can barely jump over it. It's easier done at higher speeds

I loved playing this game (I'm an Australian with Australian problems too), and I ended up going just above 10k. If I had to change anything about the game, it'd be the speed of inverted / zone mode coming back into play. In which there'd be a time when reached to certain checkpoints that'd speed the player up, letting them have a rest afterwards. I think this is what this game needs to be "human" possible.

The problem with this replica is that the speed of the obstacles changes but not the rate at which they spawn, so he jumps just as often as in the beginning

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the dino's jump and land speed are constant throughout the game. Increasing the spawn rate would make the game literally impossible to play at higher speeds.

Actually, just a tip, in some versions of the game, the tier 3 bird is actually high enough up that you don't need to react to it at all, you don't even need to duck, so in those versions, the tier 3 bird is just there to throw you off.

There are actually a couple things you've missed, here... -The highest bird is actually high enough that you don't need to duck at all. -Pressing down while in mid-air _makes you fall faster._ Sometimes the game generates objects so close together that you _need_ to use this to land in between and still have time to jump again.

code988: The point is, this game reconstruction doesn't even add the 'abort jump' mechanic, meaning the whole thing is inaccurate. I saw someone actually hook this kind of AI into the real game, and it ended up keeping 'down' pressed pretty much all the time when not jumping up to clear an obstacle.

I've had a few occasions at high speed where cacti were too close together to land behind the first one and jump over the second, so probably :/

@@Slimmeyy trick is to jump the first obstacle early so to land right behind it and then jump instantly. Plus in late stages you can jump multiple obstacles with 1 jump. So the reason why mere humans fail at some point is because our reaction time isn't fast enough to determine whether a early or late jump is needed.
