I have used Suno and Udio religiously for the past six months and I am super-hyped for Suno v4. However, I listened to the teaser's audio in the tweet a couple of times and I can still hear those tiny crackles and the unclarity that can be heard even in the best of Suno outputs. But we can't say anything until we play with it ourselves. Considering the many months this version's been in the oven, it has to be something awesome.

I personally use Udio way more but this past couple of weeks Udio is all over the place and makes music that has nothing to do with prompts and following written lyrics throws out gibberish. I hope Suno can crack the clarity that Udio has when it works.

It is also not a very "busy" song.. Suno normally breaks down the most when you have alot of things happening with different instruments.

so true, Udio is almost unusable lately, Suno voices are too messy auto-tuned and v4 still sounds a bit the same, BUT the 'cover' feature got me playing a lot! it just so crazy the tracks you can create with any sound given, not to mention that i can play say piano for two minuted and turn it to math rock it even captures all the uncommon time signatures. But that's more of my kink personally

man i jumped out of my seat seeing that thumbnail. I've been waiting for the next Suno model I'm addicted to making Suno songs. Suno hasn't gotten a model update in a while but it has been upgrading it's song editing features by a lot it's no longer just an enter text prompt and gamble for a song. You can now replace sections, do covers, and make personas which capture the essense of a song like making an artist, etc.

I haven't been back in 2 months. Once you start doing it for a while and then you make one good Udio song. You just can't go back. Even though Udio is a shittier band. That's how I refer to these things. Bands I work with. Session musicians lol😂

@@GoodBaleadaMusic I could never get into Udio over Suno. The generations Udio makes are... meh at best, gibberish garbage at worst. Suno's vocals may be a little less clear, but it makes up for that in much better musicality and lyrical adherence, and to me those are more important.

@IceMetalPunk That's because for each genre and like set of lyrics you make you need to adjust all those weird little things. I just put everything at a hundred and clarity at zero and then see if my lyrics work and then do another one bringing things close together. I wish Sono could do what audio can but it can't. In this version.

Actually, the largest music AI announcement was MS Agents. The other stuff is nice for people who want to mimic the music making process but for those of us who are musicians, agents doing MIDI and production tasks are going to be life changing. Not to mention publicity and networking.

You can get that level of clarity on V3 and V3.5 Suno. It just took a lot of generations. So clearly what they've done here is just finetune V3. It's not as far as I can see, a different model entirely like V3 was to V2.

Suno Covers, Persona, and Replace are way bigger changes than you might realize from the descriptions, even without V4. You can get stuff like that sample clip but using intermediary steps, typically ending with a Cover or a Cover of a Cover.

16:33 - You already can. I've created a ton of 30 second jingles, 60 second jingles, etc. The duration works pretty much every time and always give an appropriate intro and outro. It's really good. All you have to do is in "Style of Music" type "30 Second (what ever genre you want) Jingle".

Suno 4 could be the deal breaker! I've found Suno to make better compositions than Udio but the vocals have been pure Autotune. That Suno v4 might just be the best of both and I've been waiting for them to up their vocal game.

Same. I'll admit that v3.5 has had better vocals over time than the initial batch of sample generations when it first released, but it often (as in, 50/50) still has a bit of autotune-esque pitch jumping. It works well when making electronic music, but in other genres it's meh. But the musicality and lyrical adherence are far better in Suno than Udio, which is why I've stuck to Suno this whole time. If v4 has reduced that issue, that alone is something to be hyped about.

All the info I've seen so far is that 45-second clip, which isn't enough to tell whether it's an expanded model, a retraining of the existing model, or just a fine-tune. (By the way, v3 wasn't an entirely different model. It was just a larger version of the v2 model, with more training.)

I use Suno to make a song twice a week, using my Synthia Nova framework, but every time I do, I always check ElevenLabs first "just in case they've finally released their music gen"... they never do, but I always check anyway 😂

An AI controlling a computer is an interface AI agent, which is a hack for true Agentic computing. When apps and web pages are directly AI Agent ready, that means AI agents can work with each other and everything becomes “Agentic”, which I assume they will call it. Agentic apps with AI Agents will take quite a few years to evolve , but you’ll really feel it when that matures.

I hope Suno will fix the most logical thing you could do like give the ability to scroll on an iPad your playlist you cannot do this through Siri and the app at the Apple Store you cannot rearrange your songs that you put in a playlist making the only way to really use Suno effectively is on PC. It’s literally a interface upgrade on the right side to make it bigger for anyone’s finger to scroll between songs.

Nice video great stuff! I need to mention, Ιn all the tools related to creating AI video with audio, there is a delay of the audio in relation to the image. If you want to create any AI video including audio production, you need to place the audio back about 6 to 8 ms usually. If you are producing video is too obvious anyway. Is not a crazy problem but there is.

i'm using the paid version, from my opinion it has more various voice than demo, but to gain better result its hard sometimes, and suno need to have better chord proggresion so it doesn't sound similar

I still don't love the quality of some of the output vocals & music from Suno, melodies are cool. Now I take the stems, add some additional music and drums to the track, then run the vocals through Vocs AI, then mix. The difference from the Suno original is night and day
