AI noise reduction takes task from scanner to preprocessing lab, improving scanner throughput.

A virtual podium presentation from SCCT 2021 where I discuss vendor agnostic AI noise reduction as an alternative to iterative reconstruction for pre AI scanners. I am hoping to use these ideas as the basis for dissemination and implementation work to improve access to imaging in underserved areas where AI generation scanners may not be available for another capital expenditure cycle. With CT scanners at community hospitals, this cycle can be as long as twenty years.
