December 27, 2021, basically a year ago, today I had a compound Trimalleolar fracture with dislocation, severed anterior tibial tendon. I had to wait 8 days until surgery. I have a plate, 2 pins, 10 screws and something that they tied all my ligaments back together in the front of my foot. I’m 43 and have always been EXTREMELY active. I broken my leg skating. The sitting still is the hardest part for the 1st 2 months agonizing. I was in pain management during that time and I can tell you keeping your leg elevated as high as you can get it will help with pain. They sell leg cradling pillows on Amazon. I was told I would never fully recover. I deal with neuropathy in my toes and bottom of my foot. I have burning in my shin bone. Wiggle your toes as much as you can as soon as allowed. Have someone massage your toes. Trust your doctors. As soon as they told me I bear weight, my 1st question was will my metal or bones snap, they said no.. and I started walking that day with a walker. I did a mile which was over kill but also was I ecstatic with joy just to walk again. GO TO EVERY PT APPT AND DO EVERYTHING THEY TELL YOU. Idk how old you are but for me being 43 there was great chance I would need a cane and would walk with a limp. I have neither. I have worked my ass off to recover. I can walk in soft sand and started lightly jogging on the beach. I deal with poor circulation i my left leg now and after doing a to. Of research, i bought a water bed with a heater with keeps my metal or leg from cooling down and THAT CHANGED MY LIFE. I do stretch every morning but no longer get out of bed stiff or with a limp. The bed keeps my muscles warm all night. I no longer wake up in the middle of the night with pain. I won’t be back in skates again but I am 90% recovered doing all the things I love again. They told me it could take me 2 years to completely heal and 3 years for nerve damage to fully recover so DONT LOSE HOPE. Be patient with yourself. Get off pain pills as soon as your body feels it’s not needed, Tylenol will be your go to, get on calcium and vitamin D, do PT, push hard when you can, rest when it’s too much. Elevate, ice, Amazon makes awesome ice foot wraps, heat if that’s what your body wants when you are healed. I hope you make a full recovery. I can tell you I’m so happy when I am today but it’s been an entire year and I’m still pushing hard. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️

@@TitaNxd OMGGG you will absolutely recover and be able to do sports, hike, and bike again. You are so young and at your age you will make a full recovery to be able to do those things. Your bones will heal perfectly and your tendons and ligaments will take the most time. You might not ever have the same exactly flexibility as you did before but it’ll be close enough to where you were that you will not notice. The fact you have been super active all your years will help you tremendously. They said because I was so active, the “muscle memory” kicks in. For us, balance is a “muscle memory” GIFT we can thank our bodies for as it help! Balance is KEY and is why I’m where I’m at today. I might not be back in skates but I will still be back on my surfboard. If I was your age, I would 100% be back in my skates. You are gonna do great! And sounds like you’re ahead of the game. My IG is a.salt.fox and you can see my break/ surgery. Best of Luck! You got this! 🙌🏼😎

I have ectopic right kidney in abdomen any prblm for pregnancy please tell me sir
@savsvolumetricvisualizatio6150
@savsvolumetricvisualizatio6150 Жыл бұрын
Most benign renal anomalies will not present any problem to a fetus. For a mother with an ectopic kidney there may be elevated risk of hydronephrosis (partial obstruction of flow of urine from the kidney to the bladder). With obstetrical care you should be fine. Because of your slightly elevated risk of a problem for your kidney you should seek care from an obstetrician rather than a midwife or family practitioner.

@savsvolumetricvisualizatio6150
@savsvolumetricvisualizatio6150 Жыл бұрын
The most common cause of hip pain is irritation of the hip joint. Ischemia after stent occlusion or restenosis can cause pain but it would more likely involve more than just the hip. If your pain is chronic or intermittent, you first stop should be your primary care provider.

Where is ramus
@savsvolumetricvisualizatio6150
@savsvolumetricvisualizatio6150 Жыл бұрын
the branch to the left of the LAD I was designating the ramus because from most perspective it is a separate branch of the left main. If you would rather describe it as a first diagonal originating less than a mm from the origin of the LAD that is perfectly acceptable as well. Similarly, the very early OM1 branch in this case could be considered a second ramus intermedius. Thank you for your question!

Indeed it would and there is a way to do it, by processing each phase the same way. This issue is that each CINE is a data sculpture that has been pseudocolored. To make a CINE with the appearance of a beating heart, at least ten phases need the same treatment so ten times the total work. I have been meaning to do a case in this manner however, so keep tuned, I should be posting one in the coming month or two

This branch of the inferior mesenteric artery is supplying blood to the distal left colon. Diverticular bleeding more commonly occurs on the right but not always, which is one of the reasons CTA a useful modality for acute lower gastrointestinal bleeding. Hello Mel, There are a number of causes of left atrial enlargement. Here is a good plain language summary www.healthline.com/health/left-atrial-enlargement#causes Here is a good medical summary www-ncbi-nlm-nih-gov.ezproxy.uky.edu/books/NBK553096/ We image the left atrium with cardiac computed tomography for two reasons: 1) to create a 3D map to guide a cardiologist during an ablation procedure where a small part of the atrium is treated with heat from the inside to stop an abnormal heart rhythm, or 2) to correctly determine the size and shape of a small part of the atrium, called the appendage, so that a cardiologist can plug it up from the inside, so that clot can no longer form within it.
