I've been watching a lot of your videos since that Majin match (as many other Tekken fans I guess). It seems to me you stick too much to a planned strategy. Just a thought, you're a better player than I am, but that seems to be a trend. Maybe a better understanding of all the match ups will make that approach more viable, but, eventually, you will face some unorthodox players that will fuck you up. Maybe your flexibility is lacking.

There's a lot of factors when it goes into Tekken. I am able to adapt, not being able to would mean a lot for getting far in tournament. I know my own weaknesses and it's a lot more complicated than "Flexibility". But- against Cuddle Core My primary problem was that I was playing the character instead of playing the player; it was my first time fighting her so it was a fresh experience. I did stick to a gameplan that I should have changed yes, but I was sticking to a gameplan that was good against the character but not neccessarily her playstyle. Again, adapting and being flexible is a big part of being decent at Tekken but the how and why and when for adapting is another question that has a lot of complex factors that would be too much go into right now. I've been to many tournaments in my time, and I've fought my fair share of unorthodox players "See: PepperBeeff2Spicy vs Ichiron at Ifix Monthly for example". There are too many factors to label it really down to one thing.

You can bet, easily the most complex current fighting game. Just my two cents, take it as you will, I'm not trying to make it sound as if it was an easy task.

It wasn't nerves tbh, I was calm when playing her. But my gameplan was wrong, and I stuck to it when I should've tried something else.
