Yes.... well besides wildlife and my overactive imagination I put the fear into my head. That and not breathing is my death fear. Thoughts of drowning are drive me nuts. But I do enjoy water levels in games and subnautica lol maybe I'm just a baby

Who isn't? On top of the immense depth of the ocean, the majority of creatures there are just unpleasant. They can either fuck you up or poison you. Plus humans aren't naturally built to fight in the ocean either - nor can we reliably see down there without googles.

I feel so bad for the female diver. She was cute AF and just wanted to choose life and she got bopped instead. However, that poses a very interesting question. If they are divers then they likely came into the depths without dying. If they're alive, but then die in the depths do they respawn in the depths as undead, do they go down to the next layer, or are they permanently dead? Also, damn, I didn't know that there was end-video scenes. I usually leave as soon as the session wraps up.

A lot of them are likely to perish and become undead (dying forever, since they lose their conscience ). However, journeymen divers or any divers with high experience (level) might persist through passing and survive onto the next layer.
