A lot of AI are trained on art of white people, and even those that are made of mass datascraping tend towards making white people because of large scale cultural biases in what art gets produced. If these AI are are thieves, and thus only reproduce what already exists, then this category of problem with them reflects the biases of the society they steal from. And some people think we live in some kind of colorblind society. This is just the tip of the iceberg of the horrible racist shit still happening today.
