It is pronounced "hai" like the "hi" in "hello," and "luo" similar to the word "law," but with a soft "w" sound at the beginning. In Chinese, hailuo (海螺) means "conch," the shell of a snail. This is my fav AI tool, is very detailed in the movements and follows prompts very accurately in most of the times. Great video by the way!

We are dealing with 2 different things.. The cost of AI tools and what the tool can do. I normally work on deep O.S. bugs and I am learning AI for something to do retired. A common trait of these companies is a lack of documentation, controls are non standard and are found under cryptic click boxes on a mostly blank screen and the prompt parser does what it likes with little attention to what I want. The "free" bit almost appears to be a "me too" line as if you actually look at what they offer, maybe 10 minutes a day on unsuccessful attempts to create something even close to what I have in mind, what am I going to do with the other 23 hours and 50 minuets of my day? I need time to figure out how this all works. I'm being pushed into spending money on a tool that in general are prone to make morphed unrealistic messes and would need close study to figure which is best. 3D design packages have figured out their markets, and make a fully usable free product where you can take a month or too to become efficient before needing commercial file types and can produce 3D printed items. These tools work excellently. In the AI world, the tools are still plagued with bugs and companies come and go on a daily basis. They act as if they have no competition! It appears most of the companies are run by engineers and it never dawned on them to select a selling target that has money. For their current demographic, they need NSFW so as not to get in trouble with the boy's mommy. You, on the other hand, are doing an excellent job sorting all this out. keep it up!

What I am looking forward to is a fully integrated 3d modeling environment generation tool. Something like an Unreal Engine that can be used to as a set to run all the 3d models with skins and shapes of whatever it is you are making. That would solve for morphing and incorrect anatomy and movement, as well as persistence. Each actor and scene, the assets, can be stored and recalled as needed. Render only what you need, but have the ability to go back at different angles or times and use the stored assets to recall and flesh out further as needed. Fixing text would be easy and persistent as well with this.

Hi, it depends on the policies of the AI tool being used. For example, you don't need a license to use images generated by ChatGPT commercially, whereas you do need a license to use music generated by Suno AI commercially.

@EvolKulture You didn't phrase that right. OF COURSE you can post your free generations, there is no one to prevent you from doing that. Only SOME of the A.I. videos you watch are monetized. This would be channels like A.I. Film Forge. Most of them have little creativity, though, and just use copyrighted characters. They, of course, have subscriptions and thus have commercial rights to have their videos monetized, even though most of these people aren't very creative.

Is there a way these AI companies can tell you didn't have a license and basically finessed them for free to get monetized? Not that I would do that, of course...

Hello, is it possible with one of the applications to use an existing character (foto or video) and create scenes with his/her face. I am making a documentary movie about a person and I would like to see this person sitting in a train with different weather and light conditions. (Sun, raining, snowing, day, night, city etc ..etc..). We have no budget and time to make this in real. Are there services who could generate those images on demand?

I used to like Luma better when you would just upload a shot and the AI would just assume to take it from there without having to use any words, but they changed it and imposed restrictions on it, especially if you are a freeloader.

If you had $100 to spend on an AI package (Image to video and Text to video), which one would you go for? Preferably one which is not restrictive. Is there a simple test for restrictive paid AI? Do they come with a list of banned words?

Simple test? Yea = all online AI image apps are restrictive. Haiper wasn't, but its tightening up. This is why AI Samson is so great, he is showing us open source ones and ones we can use on our PC = zero restrictions.

In some cases, i won't have the minimum 12-16 GB of GPU VRAM, and a new rig will have to be purchased ($$$). If testing was not possible, how was I able to rule out Runway compared to HailuoAI? I am unable to test Kling because the free account queue length is a couple of days!

@@Ash_G I just brought a $4000 PC. I am testing the downloadable img2video programs. So far Pyramid flow is the best on a RTX 4060 laptop. But now with new pc with RTX 4080 super with 16GB vram, I can test higher models.

I haven't figured out how to use those complicated unpolished or lacking an user friendly interface video generators yet. Which is weird because I'm a programmer, but what they are doing is totally different than the way I think about programming. If I got to go through a long complicated local install process that is most likely going to break on my machine then I'm not terribly interested in trying to use them, I'll just wait until they get their shlt together some day and someone releases an easy one to use for the public. Throwing together videos like I do is already complicated enough with an a55load of garbage windows open up all over my screen while I'm working.

Are you ever gonna do any videos on 3D AI where you're working in a 3D space and you can turn the workspace into any viewpoint you like. You just like with a 3D modeling program. But you can still edit the work in real-time.

The core problem I see is cropping. Either hands are cur on the bottom or heads on top. Look at how shiny her leather is, engaging composition (while the head is cropped on top). It can’t be hard to add this margin around a subject, but who cares when everyone thinks the composition is great and natural😂
