Not gonna lie. 12 fps looked better than 24 fps. More stop-motion/cartoon feel that way.

if you use Topaz Gigapixel AI...using the "very compressed" setting....all sliders maxed on 4x... It can impart a very nice slight cartoony look to your renders Definitely want to start out with 720P for that 1 sometimes I even go down to 854 by 480

Topaz Gigapixel AI does the same thing for like a 100 bucks if you wanted to match Topaz Video Enhance AI as far as the output you just gotta set it on "standard" mode and play with the settings... But there's a big variety of settings you could really add a lot of style to your renders with this software

With GigaPixel AI you could even start out with 854 by 480 and get good results that's still 16 by 9 ratio

I know it's not the point or the video, but man the low framerate version looks so much better.

It's probably because the AI only interpolates, it can't distinguish the small details that animators add. Here's a good video about it kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXy1k5Kni56Dask

@@Tidexon I think they are talking about the frame rate itself, not pixel quality

So how much would the Garage Render have cost us on this one?
@LukasBazyluk11172 жыл бұрын
Around $6 apparently. That's what it says in the render farm app interface.

The bars don't represent the value at all, should at least be annotated

Shouldn't you be doing the renders and tests on an M1 Mac Studio? Render times should be barely more than 30 seconds, not 3 minutes. And you can still use that Mac to do other tasks in the meantime...
