Outstanding video, Wil (Will?). Good information, well presented and you had fun with it (loved the musical antenna raising). I am hoping to make a few portable operation videos with my own new-to-me 817 this summer. Your video will help me do a better job of it. 73 from Tracy VE3TWM

I’m became a believer that operating QRP with an efficient antenna you CAN talk to the world. Plus it’s enjoyable to get out of the shack and operate portable....SOTA, Field Day, etc.

Endfedz 20m out of the box 20’ in a tree got me Ohio-Slovenia @4500 miles my very first HF SSB contact with a FT818. Pure luck I know but QRP DX is awesome. The only reason to have 100+W is to break into pileups. I’ve made hundreds of QRP QSOs never having a radio with more than 10w! ***hint it’s 90% the antenna!
