I don’t know if any of you remember, but not too many years ago, fragrance performance really wasn’t that dependent on your chemistry. And even the freshest of the fresh lasted, period. The only factor one had to consider was whether or not the scent smelled good to their nose. The IFRA came in and overregulated the fragrance industry and ruined the overall performance by banning the very ingredients that give a scent its lasting power and projection. Then, so as not to lose their $ stream, the industry started telling consumers that NOW perfume is supposed to be a skin scent and meant to be layered and people fell for it. Consumers are so easily swayed. I wish those who don’t remember fragrances 10 years ago, could know what I’m talking about.......and no, I’m not talking about fragrances that would choke you out.

Yep! Fragrances are no longer the same. 5 minutes tops and the scent is gone. That's what's been deterring me from buying any fragrances. And Im still upset Chanel changed my no°5 formula. That was my favorite fall/winter parfum of all time.

Aisha!!! I have so much to say...ok, so I smelled Illicit Green at Sephora yesterday & while I didn't buy it then, I plan to. It doesn't smell like Black Opium per se. I have Angel Eau Croisiere on the way, I held off on it for too long. I'm wearing Born in Roma today, I initially decided to try the sample of Vanilla Woods, was not feelin it so I sprayed Donna over it & it saved the day. Dylan Blue is another love of mine. Narciso Rodriguez top notch fragrance. Im obsessed with it as well!! It's in my top 3. It's so interesting to hear how others interpret this fragrance. When I first smelt that musk Narciso DNA I thought it was drop dead sexy... A woman capable of convincing someone of anything... Many I have. When I was at Saks one day in early 2000s I think, It was the premiere of Flowerbomb. Next to Narciso. I fell in love Got everything. Lotion,body cream,etc. It was my signature scent for maybe 8 -10. Years.It was new. No one had Yea!I got at least 2 Christmas gift packages each year I was obsessed. I had a break up and did not wear it as much. I hear reformulated. Not the same I a m told. It will always be in my heart and collection. You had quite a few I wore.Love you as you know. Yes D&G the Only One is one of my boo's for life. 😍 I have the Intense also, but I prefer the original more. I got this because I heard it is similar to Black Opium. Black Opium on me, did not last and I just like the more complex smell of The Only One. It is definitely a beauty.

Great collection of designer scents! Love the white top with the Royal blue hair band with the turquoise nails 🤩🙌🏽❤️. Finally tried Black Opium and I love it. Didn’t try it for a long time because of negative reviews. Can’t believe how easily I’ve been influenced to not even try something 🙈🙈🙈. Lol. Anyhoo, glad I finally tried it and it’s on my wish list.

The angel 2020 is gorgeous! It’s supposed to be reminiscent of the rivers of Brazil 🇧🇷 which was the inspiration behind it. I bought a back up bottle because últa discontinued it . You can still find it though. It’s part of a cruise collection. It’s marketed as a summer scent however I feel it’s year round. Softer in winter and stronger in summer

Love the video as usual! I’m in love with Mon Guerlain, Narcisso Rodriguez. I’m a fan of Black Opium but I currently have the Intense version. I received a compliment from a pregnant lady and I thought wow I know I smell good if she thinks so with the pregnancy thing it can be tricky with scents 😂

@@Ai_TheGreat Yes! Surprisingly a lot of people are not fans of the Intense. The Absinthe note at the top is interesting but the dry down makes it a cuddle scent. Little secret I paired it with my sample of Delox so it would give a little more when I wore it out the house to church 🤫 . The pregnant lady hugged me twice to get a whiff!🤷🏽‍♀️😂
