As a DJ who doesn't have their own bedroom, this is an absolute win, I saved $94 so far, I might buy this before Christmas, this sounds so good, a lot of people say it's a gimmick, and it is for them, but for me it covers all the basics

@@digitaldjtips I think you should mention that these are studio monitors, not PA speakers. There are a lot of pretentious and confused folks commenting on this video.

You stated at 7:03 that the transmitter has a line-in, so if that is connected to the output of an audio interface, would the transmitter power on? Or would the USB-C end of the transmitter have to be connected to a power bank? In other words, does the line-in connection power the transmitter?

@@digitaldjtips correct I use my small Anker power bank that works like a charm in small footprint to be truly DAW-less and portable without a computer. Works great with my small modular setups. Now I need to get a larger power bank for my synths to be truly portable jamming at the beach, forests and on the road camping.

Bought these last week and they sound great. Only problem there is a delay on the headphone output on my rane performer, when I try and beat match - is this how it works or have I set it up wrong? Many thanks, Manish

If you are an outdoor mobile DJ I would also consider buying two Soundboks GO or two Soundboks 4 and an Akiko Skaa Pro transmitter which also has ultra low latency for DJing. The Soundbokses have built in Skaa receivers. For outdoor parties this configuration is much more louder.
@digitaldjtips11 ай бұрын
Oh for sure - that system is in a completely different league in all ways.

Mine arrived this week and wow such fantastic monitors! I do use an Anker portable battery pack for the dongle which is the only downside to them since it requires a battery source.

Yes, try any speakers with and without and you'll hear it - it's the higher frequencies that get slightly attenuated.

Could a Denon DJ prime 4 or Prime Go connect wireless to the speakers without a laptop? I would love to see it with the Go, Because the Prime Go runs on batteries it’s self.
@digitaldjtips11 ай бұрын
That's a good question, we didn't test whether you can just plug the interface into any USB socket (you'd need an adaptor) then use it with the LineIn, so potentially use one of the USBs on the Prime. We'll test when we can.

Not an ideal setup, but I'm guessing you could go RCA out to 1/8" into the mini jack on the transmitter. No batteries or laptop needed.

£700, 16ms delay, for wireless 30watt speakers…… they will not sell. It solves a problem that does not exist. If you need wireless, Get yourself cheaper speakers, and use some kind of UHF radio audio transmitters to each speaker for a fraction of the price….
