Most of the things they talked about require context that OSR don't have. etc. the Fawad thing, Rishi Kapoor tweets, Jagga Jasoos delay, Sanjay Dutt biopic. No wonder they were bored. The full Film Companion interview with Ranbir is much better. Also, for all the nepo accusations thrown at Ranbir, no one actually cares to ask him about his family's contribution to cinema, inside trivia, favourite RK films etc. Ranbir is super intelligent especially regarding cinema. He can probably give a brief history on Hindi cinema in 5 mins but nobody cares to ask him.

Yeah I definitely thought that the AIB crew was undermining his thoughts just because of their own biases. Ranbir acknowledged his privilege but also implied that his efforts and passion as an actor should not be undermined. Ranbir is probably one the most humble and self aware star kids.

I don't understand why people get pissed off when reactors compare bollywood to Hollywood. Indians do it too, we compare our movies with the south, with the North, with the east, with the west. That's natural! They grew up watching Hollywood movies so that's their reference, a lot of Indians grew up on both Hollywood and bollywood movies so we've learned the difference early. I feel bad about all the hate that Rick gets especially because it often shows a terrible side of some of those commenters. This was a terribly vacant and boring interview, I watched it myself a few days ago and thought - what a waste of time this has been. That's exactly what rick must have felt. Yes at times he doesn't understand something and misjudges it - many of those times we have also heard him correct himself later. yes sometimes they can be distracted and miss something in a video which we know is important as we have already watched it. They are reactors and their enthusiasm to express and entertain can lead to that at times. But ultimately, We are humans, including him. There will be some traits about us that piss others off too. Doesn't mean it's the right thing to do - to be a keyboard warrior and badmouth someone (like Rick is being attacked) just because you believe they have not respected your culture/industry. It's an assumption that he's not interested in our culture. If you look at the facts over the years, you'll see that's not the case. He's honest which is the most important thing to receive from a reviewer/reaction channel. Having said that - yes even as a reviewer or a human being, open-mindedness helps us all appreciate art and the people behind it. This applies to not just rick, but to all of us. At times he may have been quick to judge a movie or something but it's ironic that you want to raise your voice against his "judgementalness" by being judgemental of him yourself! If these hate commenters were self reflective, they would have seen the irony of how hypocritical they are being.

In this case it's about watching movies. Obviously with Indian population and it's power, creators do prefer to utilize the power of Indian views. But there are hundreds of reactors on KZbin by now. Not everyone gets the name of a movie tattooed on their arm in the colours of the Indian flag (which is a permanent thing you are doing to your body and not a painless process). Definitely someone who is only fooling you for money will not go to that trouble to pay for that big tattoo and tolerate the pain. Aapna Dil bara rakkhiye. Aapki Zindagi aur pyaari lagegi apko. Why is someone else earning from Indian views should not be the question. If you don't like someone as a person, don't support them by giving views. But if you sometimes like and sometimes don't like their reaction, then learn to handle that maturely. Everyone can have an opinion but how we express it matters. remember it's very easy to attack someone on the internet just because you are getting access to them. But spreading hate like this won't help them feel better about Indian people and it will not help you either in being someone who is happy. Yes it's a job for them so they post videos they can earn from, even if they didn't like the video and gave a bad reaction. Think about it. People who commented suggesting this video have wasted their time because these guys got bored. So why can't they think that at least let me make some profit in return for the time I wasted? After all KZbinrs do want to earn from their channel. And that's very valid. Are they committing a crime? They are not stealing money from people by conning them which a lot of millionaires and billionaires are doing who are still worshipped. Only we can use our brains to understand what video/content will be a waste of our time - so we must choose that for ourselves. Also they watched the version with subtitles even though the one we are seeing doesn't have subtitles. They still got bored because the interview had no energy.

This is such a boriiiing podcast. Like Ranbir- there's not much interesting going on.He's been Overhyped because of name and people falling for the PR hype. Mediocre actor with samey samey style in 99% of his movies- and considered good looking, which makes me laugh- HR is a good looking actor.. the rest.. okaysh, maybe. Also, Ranbir is the biggest BW gossiper alongside Kareena and Karan Johar. Probably their gossip ruined SSR's career(and other beginners' carrers)- then they try blame others for it.SMH. Katrina had a lucky escape IMHO. Ranveer is much better actor- I agree with Rick and others. RS is talent, vs PR talent as in RK case. Sorry Ranbir fans- Ranbir is maufactured talent and boring in interviews ( although he does try to sound interesting, there's not much behind what he says )
