He's worked hard, kept his chin up, and persevered when things didn't go his way. He's taken note of his weaknesses and put in the work to get better. You'd hate to see him not succeed after having beaten the odds as he has so far.

If you’re not behind this kid playing and being successful, you’re missing some very basics of being a Raiders fan. All of our successful QBs overcame a ton of adversity in their football lives and earned everything they received. He’s already passed certain lessons most young QBs take much longer to. So let’s let it play out and see where he lands. Minshew same thing. Very Gannon like in many ways. Would play better than his teams starters who those teams had invested a ton of assets into. So he’s had to move on for an opportunity to start. So let these guys fight it out and see where they land. Good bet there’s a great script written for one of their careers.

I appreciate AOC humbleness and his calm, relaxed approach to the game and the fact that he feels that he wasn't suppose to make it. But at some point his going to have to develop that Kobe, MJ mentality. As well as being able to channel pressure and urgency on the football field when the game is on the line.
