Can we use this test on kids with APD? Is there any research?

Please see the reply from one of our in-house clinicians below: --------------------------------------------------------------- You can use the aided cortical test to assess an individual’s access to speech sounds. As a result this is a test of detection rather than discrimination. If you are looking for an objective measure of speech detection ability then this may be useful. However there are other tests which may be more suited to eliciting information regarding auditory processing for this patient group. --------------------------------------------------------------- Best regards, Shane
