something that i feel great about is when i help my grandma with her medicine and with doing everyday activitys and helping her not get hurt as much as she can. I know that when its almost time for her to go that ill be there for her and she will be comfortable with me taking care of her.

I volunteered at a local veteren spinal cord hospital. We (the group I was in) played bingo with the men and had a wonderful time talking and connecting with them!

A thing that I did was help my friend who has cancer cross the finish line at a cancer fundraiser by supporting her and helping her get through their treatments.

This spring break I went to Guatemala and volunteered at an orphanage. I went with a few of my friends, and it was honestly the most amazing experience ever. It was so amazing to see these young children who were so hopeful and loving, despite all their hardships. I can't totally relate to the "love bubble."

Every time I donate to poor people on the side walk, it feels great. But recently I gave a lot more money than I would usually to a few orphans around the world. The feeling you get for helping someone else is indescribable. It's an amazing feeling ^.^

Something that made me feel good was either when me and my friend helped some blind people across the road, or when I raised over £200 for mosquito nets in a school that my school support in Gambia!

Let me rephrase that last bit- The school that I go to supports places and people in Gambia. We have managed to rebuild a school, build a wall around that to protect the children from wild animals and we have built some science classrooms with equipment to help remember our head of Science, Mr Ponsford. In order to help, I made chocolate lollipops and sold them to make money for mosquito nets to send out to Gambia. In the two times I have done it, I have raised over £200.

I feel great when i stay after class in highschool helping my art teacher clean up and tidy up the room. It makes her smile and have less work to do.

One time when i was younger we had this project in school to collect money to the pediatric clinic in our hospital. Me and another girl was the ones that had collected the most money by ourselves, and it felt really good to be able to help children and make a difference for them.

I voulenteer every week for the kids in my comunity i play games with them and i keep them bizzy with my sister we love it and it keeps the kids off the streets

A time were I was helping someone and felt great was when I went on a diabetes walk with my friends family. I now join them every year and its not only a lot of fun but a great cause to give support to those who have diabetes. Can't wait to be able to go again this year ^.^

So recently I've been helping out a special needs student who I go to school with . When I first met her I never realized how mean people could be but the reality is that people can be brutal . If you don't look the same talk the same or even walk the same, you are under the gun of the so called "normal people" And it is sad . I was introduced to her towards the end of the school year by an aid . I was unaware of how people treated her ,and honestly it makes me sick to even think about it . To have a sweet girl be treated like she should have been aborted . The first time I talked to her I saw her face light up and she wouldn't stop laughing ( she was so excited to talk to someone nice ) I walked around with her for an hour than we had to go to class . Later that day I was pulled over by a teacher , she saw what I did and she told me it meant a lot more to her than I knew , than she told me her story . It made me feel something so special when she would smile and to see the joy in her eyes was something I have never felt before . We now sit together when ever we can and we are becoming best friends . It feels good to be making a difference in someone's life

A time where i felt great about helping someone was in 7th grade, it was the middle of the year and a girl transfered to my class everyone always made fun of her except for me i found out we have alot of things in common. Next thing i knew we started walking together to our classes and we talked alot she was very shy but after opening up to her she spoke alot more and im really proud of her shes now my best friend I've always felt lonely but now i don't im going to the 8th grade and i hope were in the same class :3

My mom works at a retirement home, and my sister and I love to talk to them. It's sad that they had family that they remember because they had amnesia. There was an event at the beach where we walked to the end of the pier and back, to the harbor, and back to where we started. We raised over 1,000 and we do it every year!

One time when me and my friends went to go watch a movie we saw this elderly woman trying to buy some food but she only had 35 cents and couldn't afford anything. When my friends went to go buy some starbucks I bout some chips, a burger, and a waterbottle then gave it to the woman when she was on her way out. Even tho I spent some of my money on a woman I didn't kno I felt amazing because I helped a person in need. Giving is better than getting.

One time that made me feel good was when for a school project we had to make a difference during our winter break. So my friends and I really wanted to do something that would really help so we made cards with meaningful quotes and gave them to people at hospitals to cheer them up, and we also went to a place where we would pack canned goods that would get sent to children and families who dont have excess to food. It was really nice to see how many people and families that were there packing canned goods for other famillies also. Another one was when my friends and i also went out on halloween and instead of going out for only candy we went out for canned goods to donate it to the same place we went to pack canned goods, and it wasnt only me and my friends but it was done by alot of people in my grade. At our school for the people in my grade, our theme/task through out the school year was really to make a difference, but it didnt have to be something big cuz the simple things mattered. :))))

i once volentered for a hospital because the hospital was getting to many patients and while i was there i had to do surgery on a kid with cleft lip and after that i took the job of working there and so far i have done surgery on 58 people

A moment that marked me a lot was when I went to a elephant camp where they would rescue elephants in Thailand and me and my mom spent a week at the camp where we would wake up at like 2 am and prepare the food for the elephants and wash them

i went to volunteer with my church and helped in Kentucky with a missions trip and it was so life changing seeing just how they live down there and how we live here its so sad to me that we have luxury items compared to what they have down in Kentucky, I mean seriously we saw soooooo many broken down houses and trailer parks that people still lived in but like I said it was just so sad seeing all the luxury items we have compared to them

One time I was at a hospital visiting my grandma and I saw a little boy who was lost I helped him find his mom then when I was walking back to my grandma I saw a lost little girl who had a broken leg not old enough for crutches so I helped her get to her family and then I went back to my grandmas room

I raised a lot of mony for a pet shelter and besides that I gave the shelter food for dogs cats and rabbits. I also helped a little girl to find her parents and I babysittet dogs for free. And I usually every week go to my old kindergarden and I help the theachers. P.s. I am only 13 years old and I did all this stuff. Even I can't inagine what will I do next.
