Transcription: Shihonage carries interesting history. OSenseis Shihonage was straightforward, no irimi movement. One day, at a seminar, somebody from Judo background, swept his foot from behind. That was very good experience, of course, he didnt go down. He saw his mistake. So he changed that particular footwork. Off the line. Avoid direct confrontation. Slide.

I feel bad for all these people sitting watching some con Martial Art like aikido that probobly never spars, and has no real world application...Congrats you can do Aikido, the most ineffective unrealistic martial art out there..

I’d like to see people like Derek come and attack a real aikidoka like Chiba sensei in this vid. He’ll show you just exactly how ‘useless’ aikido is in real world confrontation/application. RIP Chiba sensei. 🙏🙏
