The mental aspect in the work process of the negative side of the opponent is very powerful but the technique makes that video very soft ....only demonstrate the beauty of this samurai art

It's amazing how the audience member could roll at the end of the demonstration 🤔

Probably the audience member was an aikido student but not a daito-ryu aikijujutsu student

If you have the reflexes it can be used to gain a clear advantage in a real fighting situation. Martial arts are experiences gained in fights by masters that are passed down on the disciples. Just hammer the moves into your body and it will react on instinct with those moves. Running away is still an option if you can't defend yourself :D they say that sprinting 100m in under 6 secs is the best defense.

too gentle and soft. Aikijutsu techniques are real, I've seen it in action, but does not work that way, with the choreographic beauty.

The Aikijujujutsu tecniques, specially DaitoRyu were born in the war for the war. Behind the jutsu (art), there is a mind controlled by the Zen principles and served to Clan. Every movement is simple because real. The Ki inside it does looked soft, but it work real. Every modern attack, like a "jab" (but don't forget that DaitoRyu isn't sport) may be controlled by a basic kata of the first DaitoRyu sequence named "Ikkajo".
