For context, the man in the first clip seems to be handling Blue sea dragons (Scientific name Glaucus atlanticus), a species of sea slug that has a really clever way of defending itself - as this mollusc feeds on siphonophores like the Portuguese man o' war, it is able to store and retain the latter's stinging nematocyst cells and use them to defend itself later on. When the guy filming put his hand into the middle of all of them, at least one probably thought it was in danger and used this defence mechanism to put him in the hospital.

I saw the post with the kids teeth for myself and it is absolutely heartbreaking. Someone in the comments said that when babies are teething, and they get milk on it, it can cause them to rot because of the sugar. but you can't use toothpaste since they could swallow it- so you gotta wipe off the milk with a towel or a rag to make sure the milk doesn't rot it away. So I guess I got something out of that post even if the teeth traumatized me.

That's not entirely right. Babies can and should use toothpaste. Only a tiny amount is needed, about the size of a grain of rice. Even if they swallow it, it's such a small amount that no damage will occur. Fluoride is still required to help strengthen their teeth. Baby toothpastes are made for a reason.

@Audrey M Please don't take what OP said as fact. They're wrong. I worked in a dental office for a decade. OP has not. Toothpaste is safe for babies and is necessary/highly recommended if you use the proper amount and use it correctly. Just buy baby toothpaste if concerned.

The reasons why babies/youngins can't use regular toothpaste is because of fluoride. It's something that is used in toothpaste as well as drinking water to help keep your teeth strong. Babies and littles have difficulty spitting to not being able to spit, so regular toothpaste when they are little can do some damage as fluoride can be toxic in large doses. It's honestly best to just talk with your child's dentist. But, they make fluoride free toothpaste for youngins. You should be brushing your babies teeth and gums. They even make toothbrush finger sleeves that is a rubber sleeve you put on your little finger that has rubber nubs to clean a baby's mouth. Brush your damn kids teeth, y'all.

Tbh honestly it'd be better to just buy some over the counter yeast treatment (meant for that area) at that point. Still better to go to the doctor because you can't be 100% sure it's a yeast infection otherwise (and treating non yeast infections like yeast infections can actually make it worse) but that's still better than freaking garlic. It's probably best to do something like that if seeing a doctor just isn't an option (I did that myself when i couldn't afford a doctor's visit, it did work, BUT i was also lucky it was actually yeast and not bacterial or something)

I’ve waitressed a little more than 20 years now. For the yeast infection one: the natural disinfectants listed sound fine, AS LONG AS THEY'RE IN A DELICATE CLOTH BAG AND NOT BARE, but the main issue was she was LEAVING IT UP THERE FOR 12 HOURS AT A TIME 💀💀💀 Those types of remedies aren't supposed to be kept applied constantly. They're supposed to be applied *briefly* a couple times a day for a brief disinfecting, like medicine!
