As a Soldier I can verify that this shit happens. You can bring ALMOST anything you want to most places you go. Me and some of my buddies had a Smash Bros tournament in the barracks once and one of my buddies brought a full VR set up once. You can even have a waifu pillow if you want so long as you never cause issues because of it. It’s actually something that most of your fellow soldiers will question it but it won’t be that big of a deal. There’s a lot of fun that comes with the military that only 1% of Americans will ever know.

My husband is in the military, I live on a base. Weebs are EVERYWHERE, a lot of them have those pillows everywhere, and even more things that are NSFW. And a lot of the soldiers have anime stickers on their cars, too. It's been like this at all the bases ibe lived on. Honestly, the soldiers are like normal people, some are definitely weebs. We do see military vehicles go down the street once in a while but it's pretty normal compared to civilian life.
