keep your wheel speed sensor. it's always going to beat the GPS, but AiM did improve the GPS in the MyChron 5

Hi, Im stuck with the default one and race studio doesnt seem to have the mychron5 listed in the area where you can customize.. It has smarty cam, MXG,MXL2, EVO5 and MXS but no Mychron? How can i fix this problem?

You can't build a configuration inside of RS3 and send it to the MyChron 5...yet. It's a feature they're going to build sooner or later. Most of the config happens on the MyChron 5 itself, but you can change some stuff like the time zone, backlight, etc...

hello I purchased a mychron5 2t with the duel patch cable but the pins do not match to it there is not enough holes for the pins, is there something I missed?

Yes, your temperature cable plugs into the top port on the back of the logger.

DR RACING KART SWEDEN keep hitting the MEM button, then when you arrive at the single lap review screen you can use the two left hand buttons to cycle through all the laps in your session. Any real analysis should be happening on the computer though!

Ioannis Swiss sensors -yes. most accessories well as well. the e box and e box extreme will not, they have been replaced by the MyChron Expansion

yes, it will also calculate the gear you're in based on your speed and RPM, and display the gear on the display

Hit MENU>CONFIG PARAMS>DISPLAY Once there you can activate and deactivate any of the six display pages, of which there are 4 custom pages. Activate a custom page, then hit the config button on the top left. This allows you to select what data is visible on-screen.

I have the mychron 5, I use it with my tz250 twin motor, I also have the expansion box, and what I don't understand is why can't I get a CHT option when I go to the expansion box, it gives a bunch of options, but no CHT and no EGT? It gives water option , it gives same options for all expansion ports! I want to have 2 EGT, 2 CHT and a water, I don't understand why the mychron won't allow me to do this? It is like this thing is only designed to work with a single cyl. Motor!! Please help if you can, I loved this unit, rite up until this point. I have the mychron 5 2t. Y cable going to right and left EGT, expansion box port 1 water, I would really like to use exp. port 2 and 3 for right and left CHT, it seems like this is NOT possible?

The expansion box will only accept a thermoresistor input, not a thermocouple
